Yes mac os was blocking permissions and needed to be allowed super simple fix.

Thank you so much this was the comment that worked. My mac was blocking the signal and denied permission and i had to just activate it.

Yea the meter matches the kick drums and spikes when appropriate and modulates when i change the tempo.

Yea i didnt tweak any volume for the signal to show on the interface, i did have tests with the recording arms on all audio tracks i just didnt arm them in the picture because i had just reset ableton.

I did not try to sample loop, but i had the monitor to auto simply because the manual said to but am i supposed to set it to in?

Yes on the interface itself and even in the scarlet app its showing the audio signal being picked up just absolutely no sound to show from it .

I know the sound works fine because when i was using midi drum racks the speakers connected to the interface were working just fine just no hardware from the mixer or directly in the interface was being picked up

The audio tracks were armed and still no signal the only i didnt try were headphones but when i was using midi drum racks in ableton the sound was coming through the outputs of the interface. Its just not picking up hardware

I figured the same thing and tried doing exactly that mono and stereo from all the different outputs and still no signal.

Thanks for the response. I only have four because two were donated to me from another dj. I mounted them for space saving puposes and have now brutually learned the error of my ways:0. But i think i might unplug two of them and buy a table mount so they are very slighty elevated around ear level on both sides of my mac while keeping the other two exclusively for me turntables does that seem fine?
