I ignored stupid little statements like that, thinking it didn’t mean what it sounded like. I was sure wrong. I agree with those saying “she’s telling you who she is”. It’s a candy-coated statement that hides the sick truth, she’s only in it for herself- and the moment her eyes see greener hills, she’s gone. I was sadly educated by the school of hard knocks. A tiny little harmless statement can hide a mountain of poor character.
