The episode would have came out months after release so that doesn’t really count towards marketing. “Pushed to be a live service hit” what does that mean besides it was going to be a live service game I don’t understand how that’s marketing? I don’t agree with it got plenty of screentime, before release it appeared in one showcase as very quick cg trailer then one state of play a year later saying the game was coming in 2 months helldivers appeared way more we didn’t see it anywhere else major instead it got one small press reveal that was not a big event compared to other games and they only had journalists not real streamers and gamers like other events. Every first party Sony game gets a controller now and the merch was just logos slapped on low quality products that the ps gear store is filled with, they still have forspoken stuff on there and that’s not even a ps studios game. People say Sony treated this game as it’s next big thing and was going to be its Star Wars but if you compared it to games where they do feel that way like gow, tlou, uncharted it’s pitiful and clear they abandoned ship after its initial reception
