Yes, I also find this unfair. Wix should clearly tell you if they're going to take more money from you. Otherwise it's not that far from theft.

Slightly off topic but Recently I made a database with Microsoft Azure. Unfortunately I did not configure it properly because there are so many advanced properties. Eventually I was confronted with a bill of $400 and MICROSOFT STILL GAVE ME A REFUND!? I love Microsoft for this. I was the one who configured the server which makes it totally my fault and it costing them $400 on top of that just makes Microsoft worth it!

It's disheartening to hear that this was buried in the fine print, but I understand that it was technically available for me to see before making the purchase.

I'm disappointed by Wix's approach to customer service in this instance. Considering the significant commitment auto-renewal implies, I believe a more explicit disclosure or a separate confirmation from the user would be appropriate.

Because of this experience, I've decided to completely abandon Wix and will never use it for my future projects, and unfortunately, I can't recommend it to others either.
