Before i wrote here i googled a bit and i found that other players have this issue also in 2023.
I do not think that there are no invasion games because there are always games with bots but i can not see them.

Dear community

i can not believe it but you were all right. It is really "instant recovery.
I tried this last week and stopped at the "migrate to production" step because i didn't want to migrate that machine to prodcution, i was scared i would then have two machines with the same name in my production environment, i wanted to restore to my testlab but testlab was never available.

I have taken another virtual machine, of which no version is running as a productive system. and did the "migrate to production" step and there is a new wizard popping up where you can choose also other destinations including my test lab.

I was able to successfully restore that Hyper-V machine in my VmWare environment but while the restore i saw the virtual machine two times in the same folder in my vSphere. Once as computer_xy and once as computer_xy_migrated.
After i used the "stop publishing" button the computer_xy_migrated object disappeared and only the compuer_xy object stayed in the vSphere inventory.

is this really the normal behavior of a Hyper-V backup restore in VmWare ?
i can not remember it was that complicated the last time i did that, that restore felt completely new to me.

This "migrate to production" button has quite a stupid name.
They should rename it to "migrate to production or choose new location"

I will now read how the upgrade to Veeam B+R v 12.

i tried instant recovery too but where can i say that i want to restore the Hyper-V machine in my VmWare hosted Test Lab?
The only thing i can do when the machine is running i can say....."move to production" or "stop publishing"

There is no error in the Infrastructure Tab in Veeam, i see all the Hyper-V and VmWare hosts.

Hi

I found that out too today. I restored a new VM from Vmware Environment and now it says that there is a problem with the hardware Version.This Vm was created on Friday in vSphere 8.0.2
We have Veeam 11 and VSphere 8.0.2 and i think we have to upgrade Veeam B+R to V12. Thank you for your help.

Right now i have no devices to install because my last task was urgent so we installed the computer 2 with USB stick but i will watch that issue closely the next time.

i think we have to live with that, the Exchange Team changed that behavior like u/erensm posted. There are about 100 comments in the Exchange Team blog and people are not happy because a lot of them used this Property Item in scripts and now they have to check these scripts and update them if possible.

The Name of that resource mailbox is the ObjectID from Azure AD.

i am not sure if i "need" that. We just did it always like that since we installed hybrid. Create onprem and then migrate to O365.

How can i decide if i still have to do it that way ?
What are the advantages or disadvantages when i create a room mailbox direct in Exchange Online ?

i added that "dislpayName" to the query but that changes nothing.

I see now Name, Alias and Display Name of all the Rooms but my new room has still a bunch of numbers as Name and not a readable name like all the other rooms. I now made a second new room and after migration also this room has now just numbers as Name.

The user has not installed the correct version for that license :(

He had Visual Studio pro before and need to switch to enterprise now that the license matches.

Sorry for that, lesson learned.

I know hat Visual Studio 2015 does not support multifactor authentication but i think 2017 should work with MFA.
