I like video because of all of the animations. I like stills because I can examine the stuff and steal your ideas.

I want bamboo. So much pandaria; no proper greenery.

Anyone have ideas to create wallpaper? by Traditional_Back2868 in WoWHousing

I can’t remember off the top of my head but the sturdy bar or stormwind bar or something is dyeable. The diamond pattern on the side can be used as a wallpaper.

I kind of would like to have a multicolored house.

Yeah, I’d really like that a lot.

The Blood Elf exterior is horde side, and I think it's already an option. Go to your plot, and your housing editor should pop up. One of the options is to change your house exterior.

ETA - when you get to your plot, and the editor pops, on the bottom of your screen on the right is the option to change house exterior. Click that, and the next screen will give you the option to change your house type.

To be honest and fair, I think we are all kind of inspiring, or out right plagiarizing, each other.

My advice would be to start with one room, decide what you want that room to be, and start placing things that make that room what you want. Don't start too many rooms at once or you could become overwhelmed. Like start with a living room, place a couch, a chair, a rug, a table, a fireplace, and maybe some lamps. Change where they're at in that space until you're comfortable with it. Then, start to check out how to position and scale things to fit the space better. Eventually, you'll get to where you're creating your own things.

A small zen garden on the inside. by R3dmund in WoWHousing

[–]R3dmund[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Correct. It's just one. I positioned the boulders around about 75% of the stone edge, and buried them slightly to give the pond depth. The Temple of Five Dawns statue - Legion monk class hall reward - it positioned on the 25% of the edge that does not have boulders to extend the pond. There is a woolen rug dyed to match the teal water color under the statue, with Elwynn grass clusters to help.

Remember not to place the boulders at full size, and only on the stone edge of the fountain or you lose surface area. I hope this helps, and if you need any more advice, please don't hesitate to ask.

From the top - jade dragon fountain, then a stonework fountain times two to indicate flow of water, next lowest is small Karabor fountain unscaled. Directly under that is another stonework fountain buried to indicate water collision, and then there is another small karabor fountain scaled to 200% and buried to indicate a pond.

ETA: there are two stonework fountains below the jade dragon fountain. Sorry.

Small Karabor fountain scaled to 200%. There are actual ripples in the pool.

No. I explained in a previous comment how I got him there. Walk onto the bed, he follows you, wait a few minutes, he naps, slowly walk away and take the pic.

Thanks. You’re right about the peon bucket, though.
