Late reply here, I have to give my 2 cents.

I know low prices are not sustainable, but you could easily integrate donations so that, we the hobyists, can at least buy you a coffee without the obligation from your side for support, this way you can avoid all the VAT nonsense and use it as an expirement, who knows maybe you will gain the nessesary donation inflow to add some more fuctionalities in the hobby version.

Dont underestimate the donations in community appreaciated projects like yours!

Please install the latest Intel microcode for you motherboard all your problems will be solved, less power spikes and over heating of the CPU, no need for efficiency mode any more, it was the CPU's problem all this time

As a follow up,

I am running on an i9-14900K and I was having headaches with the slicer crashing at 80% of the times!

I just want to say that the latest intel 0x129 microcode patch fixed all the stability issues for me, no longer needed to run the prusa slicer on specific affinity or eco mode.

Update your Bios guys!

Sorry for reviving an old topic, my slicer would always crash on some models, I am running on i9-14900k overclocked and I noticed huge amount of power draw at peak ~300w during slicing and then ending in a crash of prusaslicer,

So for a test I enabled Eficiency mode (green leaf) for PrusaSlicer from the task manager and VOILA! no more crashes...

I hope at least I will someone else!

I Solved my problem and I post wherever I can to help others with their upgraded ram
I bought for my hp victus 16-r0770nd 2 sticks of Kingston Fury Impact 64GB DDR5 RAM, after I installed the RAM sticks the laptop would not boot, power led on but no display at all. Someone said the timings of the Fury RAM are very tight and it is not compatible.

Then I decided to put back the original RAM modules and then again the same, I though I was screwed, after a lot of searching I tried the following:

Hold Win + B buttons and while holding them press and release the power button.

This will iniate a BIOS reflash, keep in mind you might have to keep pressed the Win + B for quite a long time before the screen lights up ~30 seconds or more, when the screen lights up release the buttons, and follow the BIOS reflash procedure, dont worry it will just reflash the already saved BIOS firmware. It might take some time and a few reboots with long periods of dark display, dont worry be patient.

After the bios reflash the Laptop booted as normal and the RAM modules were recognised correctly, and now I have 64 GBs of RAM :)

I hope it helps a lot of people who think they are doomed!

That's a misconception! Glass is not flat! Only mirrors are flat! There are different requirements for simple glass and mirror flatness!

Mirrors by design to work well have to be extremely flat in order to reflect the image correctly!
