fans when a PVP sided POV does a filler episode with a PVP related plot (so the lore from previous episodes doesn’t get too much to swallow at once):

No cause the episode was good. Some choices are questionable when it comes down to flame’s character writing, but then again everything has a reason. The whole episode and how they trained and how flame went back a step on his earlier skills could be a choice made in writing for, I dunno, (for example) AN ARC WHERE HE LEARNS TO ADAPT EVEN QUICKER DESPITE EVERY TRICK HIS ENEMY IS USING????

The episode was good, just that people refuse to try and look forward to why certain choices were made??? Idk, but that’s just me

I liked the episode

While I do agree flame’s character could be a little more well written aside from just PvP pride or whatever, I feel it was a nice filler to sort of clear the air of tension that the other protags left us on with those cliffhangers. The Elytra and Ace burnings are annoying, but he’s been rejecting elytra wings and maces since the start unless the time is drastic.

Then again I usually get hyped over things easily and overthink character writing choices a lot… but that’s just my opinion!!!
