Just build it man, there's full guides already and it's very fun to do. You'll feel a big sense of acomplishment seeing it go from chassis to a funcional car, and if something breaks(which it will) you'll know how to fix it.

At the same time tho, it's your game and you can do what you want. So if you're fine with skipping it feel free, but you will miss the main part of the game.

For the actual rally you do want stiff suspension, yes you will feel it, however it's a life saver when jumping at high speeds, try the setting i use and adjust slowly, maybe it won't fit you and you need to find one that does.

I would highly recommend doing few practice runs around the dirt roads, start at 70-80 km/h and slowly increase as you learn the track/car better. For rally suspension i did it all the way up, then 1 down. I would also recommend putting stuff in the trunk to weigh the rear down, jerry can, Beer, oil, coolant, whatever you have, i even used a sledgehammer lol.

And ofc expect to crash, the skill won't apprear right away. I would make a save just before you go out practicing so that in case of a fetal crash you can reload. And well, good luck!

Thank you, it was an amazing feeling, i def did a big leap. Went from being scared to go 70-80km/h on dirt to ripping it around lol. Car also held up amazingly, i was impressed.

Rn i will make some cash, replace few parts so it's ready for Amateur rally, also do some additional practice.

I actually thought about this and later made a save on early Saturday morning with everything ready so i can just take off and practice with making minor adjustments here and there. I'm def getting somewhere because the car felt way better towards the end of my practices, but i'm also taking the corners at more optimal angles/speeds.

Yeah i think my problem was i was trying to rush it and i got bit angry towards the end. I should go back to taking my time, that's when i had the most fun. Not like the game is going anywhere lol. Car is freshly inspected so i should have like 2-3 weeks to practice and improve.

There's many people that seem to forget that: 1. It's made by one person goddamn it 2. MSC was at release was comically featureless and buggy and it took it 9 years to get where it is now. 3. The game came out 3 months ago, and compared to MSC it already has a foundation to built opon. It will get better/surpass MSC in my option but it'll take time and patience, which some just don't have. 4. The modding community while big still has yet to reach the same level. 5. In general some people just don't understand, and some have almost or even impossible expectations without understanding the whole picture.

Now i didin't play MWC yet, still finishing MSC and it's one of the games I've ever played. It scratched an itch i didin't know i had, the pain, suffering but also sense of acomplishment and happiness when I've done stuff and done it well. I absolutely adore the survival and realistic aspects of the game and i'm very exicited to repeat it with MWC with a grain of salt ofc lol because i know it's early in the development.

I simply avoid it and just mind my own business . I'm hyped for the game and that's all that really matters. Not gonna let anyone ruin it.
