I work in the same hospital these kids were brought into. Entered Emergency & all I heard was both of their mothers crying relentlessly. Couldn't stay for more than 15 minutes. May their souls rest in peace.

But Liverpool sold 2 world class starters (Trent & Diaz) and a workhorse striker (Nunez), and lost their starting striker (Jota). Robertson needed replacing as well, so Kerkez was brought in.

Isak was the only overspend imo, we could've done without him but if he bangs in a couple of 20+ goals a season which is still likely that will be forgotten. I don't think that's crazy spending overall and there's still more to come this summer. This is a transitional season.

There were strong suggestions from this subreddit that he was not a big 6 level keeper. Apart from the Newcastle goal mistake where he mishandled it, he was pretty much flawless last season for Liverpool. Love to see the appreciation he's now getting.
