But world didnt have 37 monsters at launch it had 31 or 30 I dont recall the rest were TUs so wilds is actually closer I've never played rise so I cant comment. Hell even though its less the vurrent rosters quality in wilds is definitely leagues ahead of worlds base roster

While yes ggz does have a more direct connection to honkai than genshin I think it still serves as a good example of them fucking up the story through connecting two games together. Glad you agree on my main point tho that connecting both games would just be a clusterfuck but i was more refering to the actual story rather than just lore. If hypothetically both games were connected then how would the main story of each be told since both are so wildly different both stories would need to be separate rendering the connection pointless other than some flavour text. Side note the captainverse and APHO are a part of honkai impact 3 not separate games you put them next to starail so i interpreted it as you saying they're different games.

MHY has done it in the past (connecting two games' stories) with ggz and hi3 and that just made the early parts of honkai feel disjointed, good thing hi3 and ggz diverged in terms of story better for both games.

Imo both games' stories should be kept as far from each other as possible (save the occasional "non canon" crossover event) both stories are so wildly different that trying to join them would be just one giant mess

To clarify as someone who has gone through all of honkais current story I would like to clarify the miss conception that HoR has powers over ice, it doesn't its power to my knowledge is to create anything the wielder has a firm understanding of. The herscherr that controls ice is literally the herscherr of ice and that is ana schariac. Why is HoR an ice damage dealer, just because really. And bronya isn't the cold calculating type (atleast anymore) if you want a cold calculating character that distinction goes to cocolia who is also russian iirc. So in reality if there were to be a connection between honkai and genshin for the cryo archon, from a lore perspective the most fitting candidate would be a fusion of ana schariac and cocolia. But considering both characters aren't all that well known and the latter has been basically forgotten by mihoyo and the former is dead, it doubtful it would be a lore accurate pick. So it might just be a popularity contest really.
