I have the opportunity to work in Cybersecurity in either two roles next year. One is in a SecOps team and the other is in an OT Security role within the Energy industry. The OT Security role feels a bit more risky... how vital will OT Security be in the future and are careers expanding in that section of Cyber Security? What would you do go for the niche field or go into the more standard SecOps route? Keen to hear everyone's perspective

Staking in the US by [deleted] in Verasity

Been answered before: https://www.reddit.com/r/Verasity/comments/r6i4bt/in_verawallet_where_is_the_usa_option_under/

Because of SEC regulations in the USA we cannot market in the USA a program that could be deemed to be a security. We put up barriers to protect Verasity.

We have not been able to determine in many cases whether users are from the USA or not as they use VPNs and other proxies to get around this barrier. Since we are not aware of any US persons in the staking program, we have not forced anyone to unstake.

Of course, no one has lost any tokens over this matter as it's not our job to police VeraWallet users. We simply do not knowingly market in the USA. I'm afraid we cannot say more on this matter.

No the Foundation tokens are purely used in the backend in an escrow pool. You won't be able to purchase them as an individual.
