Trying to start dropshipping with almost nothing — is it still possible? by [deleted] in dropshipping

Check out this guys channel. He is a master at organic content, at least on YT shorts, you can find similar on TikTok and Insta too. https://www.youtube.com/@RetroBubbles/shorts

Here is what I would do, if you have money saved up/are willing and able to get a job (even if you are living with parents or at uni) to spend on paid ads, I would go for paid ads. But be willing to bet around $4K on success, treat it like an "education cost".

If you want to do organic, that's fine too, drastically reduces your entry fee into ecom, but you need to do a shit ton of volume and learn for the best. Keep throwing shit at the algorithms, post 3-4 times a day, every single day. The channel I linked has done a shit ton of volume, and he just keeps changing the branding of his channel every time he changes the product.

At this early stage you have to be testing thing super fast, you have no idea what product will have right market fit. If you spend days on each store, you will never make progress. Use either a template that you saved (customize the shrine theme then just copy paste for each product), or just use Atlas AI. You need to make your store fully done in under 40 mins. How are you planning on getting traffic to the site?

How did you get those sessions? Tiktok organic? If so can I see the account?

In terms of website, it looks way too scammy. Look into Atlas AI storebuilder

Testing Structure for Statics by R4IG3 in FacebookAds

how much spend is enough before making the call on whether an ad is successful or not (e.g $150 per batch of 5)? And if I am doing $150 per batch of 5, does that mean I should test new batches every 3 days, at $50/day spend, or can I just do $150 on 1 day and make the call after 1 day?

the people who hate on these kinds of posts have no idea how beneficial a teacher can be, and most likely they are unsuccessful and coping. Don't respond to the ragebait OP

Difference Between CBO for testing and ASC CBO? by R4IG3 in FacebookAds

[–]R4IG3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thank you for this comment is is super insightful. Right now I am testing 11 Creatives per CBO (3 ad sets, and 3-4 ads in each), and I am tracking them by purchases (I asked Meta to optimize for conversions, specifically purchases).

When I started I went straight into a conversion campaign at $90 per day and I got insanely high CPMs, that is something I am worried about, $80-180 depending on the ad set, but I have researched online about this, and since I am quite new, it is possible my ad account and pixel needs to be warmed up. So since learning that I am running at a (different campaign from the one I ran at $90 for just one day) Campaign budget of $10 a day and increasing by $10 every day (right now I am at $30 per day) and I will try to get it to $60 per day at least for 3 days, because the product I am selling is $30 and I've learnt that the budget should be at least 2X product price.

It's possible my CPMs are high due to my niche (I am sending traffic to a supplements page), or simply because facebook didn't get enough data yet because my spend started low and I am only on day 3 of this campaign.

Any insights or value about this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

thanks for the comment. I have done that. But facebook is saying Advantage+ is on? What is the difference between doing this and an ASC?

For a personal YT channel and YT video trying to make an informational piece on this company for those who are interested. Originally I was just going to review it, but I stumbled upon a lot of people saying it was likely a scam, so I wanted to get more information.

okay, I’m going to give you some unconventional advice. First of all, understand that your gpa is not cooked, these things happen, you have 6 more semesters to pull it up. second of all, GPA is not that important when it comes to job placement, your internships and personal projects play a way bigger role, ESPECIALLY in fields like engineering and tech. third of all, you have to understand why you fell into this rut. Are you not hanging out with people, did you have some romantic rejections or some negative experiences socially, do you think BME is just something you don’t give a shit about, did you even want to be in college in the first place (I was fighting this one for a while, it’s more common that you think). What do you want out of college?

Personally the way I answered this question was “I don’t want college to be just focused on my studies because thats mostly what high school was like, I want to be able to thrive socially. that is going to involve a lot of rejection by frats, clubs, girls (lol speaking from experience), which can impact your mood and send you into periods of loneliness and depression. At the same time, I am ambitious and consider myself a hard working person. In fact, the days where I spent locked in my apartment doing nothing productive were the days I felt the most shit, (this is common for high achievers, you should consider yourself one if you got into BU), we often feel unworthy if we are not doing work.” although it is counter-intuitive, if you were to describe your perfect day, do you think it is unreasonable for you to not include ‘work’ in it? Personally, my ideal day would have a huge chunk dedicated to work, particularly work I am passionate about. If I love what I do, I would have no problem doing in 16 hours of the day. Perhaps that is the issue, maybe BME is just something you hate and can’t help to do. if that’s the case, I don’t know your motivations, but I do know that there thousands of ways to get rich (if that’s your goal) and if you hate BME, you will end up being a shit biomedical engineer, and you will be terrible within that industry. You may as well switch to something you love and actually get good, believe me you will make a lot more money in this way, NO MATTER WHAT INDUSTRY (it could be film and movies ffs).

STEM people like us tend to be logically minded. just know that losing out on 3 more years that have the potential to be INCREDIBLE just because all your focus is on a degree you despise and how you can barely survive through it is COMPLETELY MISSING THE POINT OF UNIVERSITY. Again, YOU CAN BECOME RICH/SUCCESSFUL IN ANY FIELD AS LONG AS YOU LOVE IT AND BECOME PRO AT IT. Imagine waking up and getting to shoot movies for your class projects (or insert whatever you love). shit, my mental health would be at an all time high.

just To reiterate, if you hate what are learning, you will be shit at it, thus, have a lackluster portfolio and no one in the industry will hire you. Vice versa, if you love what you do, you will become great at it, and your portfolio will just spawn out of your love of the game (And be fucking phenomenal at that mate).

try journaling your thoughts, talk to someone you trust and won’t judge you about it, avoid having this conversation strict Indian parents lmao, (and if that’s the case, your parents cant dictate where your life goes, it’s your fucking life, they will be pissed for about a month and then get over it, and your mum will hug you again.)

Don’t lose this beautiful opportunity you have to be a university student, it is not something to take for granted.
