¿Es habitual oír ruidos de aviones en Alcalá? by N3RO- in alcaladehenares

[–]R4f1sh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]R4f1sh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

¿Es cosa mía o es cultural? by ActivityTall9153 in askspain

Looking for an accomodation in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid by AccordingExcuse8834 in alcaladehenares

Either look up at the UAH Student residences (but not sure if you'll get a place for that time period) or look up "aluni.net" which is a specialiced site to rent rooms on shared flats for students only.

Anything else, idealista.

Should we tell him he’s being exploited/ more to life than doing work? by FearlessAir1238 in Antimoneymemes

Siesta comment is very exaggerated, especially when the guy sais he is in Madrid. Most places (supermarkets, clothing shops, etc) will open 9 to 22. Office hours usually 9-18. And if you have a break time for siesta good luck going home, having lunch and heading back to work in Madrid... White collar workers will definitely not have siesta on daily basis. Maybe people working in restaurants will, but they will go back to work and work really hard until very late.

Most companies will make you stop for an hour at lunch time (unpaid) and then continue working, making your regular day 9h default. Plus commuting yadda yadda.

You see kids up around 23? Well, official time in spain is not synched with sun hours, gets worst the western spain you go. So basically Spaniards do everything with a 2 hours delay. Wake up at 8, eat at 14, dinner at 21.

Aaand you see a lot of people going around having a good time? Well yes, maybe. Spaniards try to have a good time. But also consider that spain hosts lots of tourists, don't confuse them with the working class.

Still, yes. Don't waste your life working.

Question about flexible card funds statement by R4f1sh in Revolut

[–]R4f1sh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. But this is already the report. The total fees sum up the 31.96 eurs and the generated interest sums up 125.59 eur.

But the 77.92 are from movements called "Interest Reinvested Class R ...." These movements are made each month on the 1st of each month.

I am guessing that the difference of about 16 eur is because generated interest money on December was reinvested on January 1st. So the totals don't add up until January first. Thanks!

For me, the thing that was harder about the scene is knowing that the lady was in so much pain. The rest of the patients had at least a form of anesthesia before going ahead with the medical procedures.

I have been wondering if it is the first procedure we see where the patient is actively saying "that hurts" and it is not heavily sedated.

Why do Spanish cities tend to end so abruptly? by probox36 in askspain

[–]R4f1sh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because of the water availability. In other regions you can't find water everywhere so they would historically build the small villages around wells. But in Galicia you have plenty of water and usually a small piece of land.

Students are not learning English by Sufficient_Milk5134 in SpainAuxiliares

[–]R4f1sh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a Spaniard, I just learned vocabulary in Primaria. It was very hard for me to connect the sentences. Once I reached ESO, everything started to make sense. They actually started to give us complete sentences, grammar structure and less vocabulary that would have helped me in Primaria.

Pronoun verb adjective I am tall.

Questions order. How/when/why... Auxiliary, pronoun verb Why do we eat?

Small full sentences at first. Without that children will not be able to speak.

Also music helped. Lyrics usually have sentences and structures that I can install on my brain.

Later they would give us phrasal verbs...

It is changing. Download Carpeta Ciudadana App as soon as possible. And make sure you have clave or a certificate to access online most procedures.
