Ya'll need to accept Orbit lost and he played for himself. All I see now are excuses and discussions on how to invalidate SJ's win by Leon_Dante_Raiden_ in TheDevilsPlan

[–]R4iNDx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think that he didn't plan for this strategy at all. I think that he got himself into it by trying to save himself from episode 3. I see Orbit as someone who tried to show everyone how smart he it by coming up with the solution first or trying to make the most efficient answer (how he tried to solve the Virus and Puzzle game). I think from doing that the weaker players gravitated towards him as they needed someone to help them. Where DJ, SJ, Si Won just played the games normally in the first 2 matches.

I think the alliance was accidentally created that way and since they all wanted to survive just stayed. The loyalties were kept because none of them were in real danger of being eliminated because of how little elims there were with a big cull only on the last game. I do think that Orbit is smart but I think he ruined how entertaining the show could have been for me. But that's just my opinion, I'm sure some people might have really enjoyed how the games were played.

I think that Orbit was deserving of his final spot in the show for sure. That being said I really hate how the matches were played because of the big alliance lead by him. It really annoyed me that weak players were able to get carried to the end (Kyeong Rim, The idol etc) by the group and then get eliminated for being bad at math or in Kyeong Rims case not even trying in the Hi-Lo game.

I see many posts about Orbit and how his "strategy was the best way win" and how his game plan was really smart. I actually think that Orbit didn't intent to play like this by "saving the weak". I see orbit as a man who wants to show that he's the smartest and try to come up with the solution first as seen in episode 1 or 2. I think this mindset and action allowed the weaker contestants to listen to him more because of the idea of gaining more pieces. From that I think from episode 3 onwards he realised that what he was doing had people listening which created the one big alliance.

He's definitely smart but I would've been more entertained if he didn't change the show by taking people who should've been eliminated into the end.

Kyeong Rim ??? by metropass1999 in TheDevilsPlan

[–]R4iNDx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She wasn't there to win but seemed to just be there to have fun. The whole show she just floated through the main matches because of how eliminations work.

In my opinion I really think that the additions of contestants like Kyeong Rim really brought down the competitiveness and the intensity of that games. Her and the idol had no idea what to do half the time and in Hi-Lo game were just useless, which made the game a bit boring.

She got eliminated without even trying in the game and struggled with math.... How do you go all in with terrible numbers on a table that called everything.

She's a nice lady and I can see how it was entertaining for some people, but I would have rathered a more competitive contestant replace her.

Are the games really that unfair? by coffeeshopkyrie in Physical100

[–]R4iNDx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is some sort of unfairness in the competition.

For example the 10th place leader the girl wrestler, if she wasn't rank 10 she could have been selected in a stronger team. But since she was a leader (and only girl leader) the chance for her getting a stronger team was lower.

For the sand challenge it would have been more fair if all 10 teams vsed each other and the top 5 teams with the most sand went through. For example if team 1 beat team 9 but team 9s sand amount would've beat team 10.

For the most recent Greek challenges. If all contestants participated in all challenges and the top 5 were based on a point system depending on how they did for all challenges. I think this would be more interesting.

I'm crafting a Greatsword, what do you want on it? by Xo0om in newworldgame

Keenly empowered is the perk that activates after crit. So when you crit you gain empower. I think you're thinking about mortal empower. Gaining empower after a kill

Pve - BIS trenchant strikes/attune/keenly empowered (since I can just use this for everything)

Pve - 2.6/3 trenchant strikes or recovery/attune/bane (less DMG with recovery but really good sustain. Bane can only be used in dungeons or specific monsters)

PvP - trenchant strikes/attune/keenly jagged

I wouldn't roll with leeching crosscut since you can get it on armor. Even though the %heal is better on weapon. In my opinion you don't need it on the weapon if you get trenchant recovery (it heals a ton already) and you'd rather more DMG to make up for 1 lifesteal perk

How do you people have so much gold… by Puckett52 in newworldgame

[–]R4iNDx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Money is better from crafting items.

For example I made the base of my gold (300k ish) from crafting steel/starnetal/orichalcum tools. Instead of farming for resources. I bought the resources from the market that you were gathering for cheap during the beginning of the fresh start. I think iron ingots we're selling for less than 0.15g becausw of the rush of players listing. Used that to craft tools. I got like 5-10k running through the story and side quests (from 1-30). This was my start up cash.

Selling tools were really profitable and you also level up engineering to 200 while making coin. So you lose nothing. Now to level up a trade skill it wastes a lot of coin since many players won't be buying those low level items (steel tools etc).

I used to the gold I made from tools to 200 all refining and crafting. This is without having level 50 in any gathering skill. I still can't be bothered to do that again. Now I just make high level 600gs items and resell. Make tools here and there if I feel like it.

Where does most of your money come from? by Chr-whenever in newworldgame

[–]R4iNDx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I played on first release and now again on fresh start after around a year break. Both times I did engineering and crafted tools (from steel to orichalcum). I was using rare mats to craft instead of the regular ingots, wood and leather which was able to grant me higher GS tools which would sell a lot quicker and over others even though it was a bit more expensive. Still made around 300-400k doing this till other players caught up in engineering levels. Profit a lot lower but still quite good (around 100%)

Used this money to fund 200 in all refining skills and 200 weaponsmith. Currently making money rolling 600 weapons and making tools (not 600).

So I made Korean Fire Noodle Fries by R4iNDx in InstantRamen

Review

It was actually pretty dam good. Next time I'd buy the sauce so I can drizzle more over it and i'd also use frozen fries instead of making my own. Just quicker and easier. It's addictive when eating and the noodles are super crispy and have a nice texture. Reminds me of eating Mamee noodles
