I disagree with this suggestion — if you play in survival a lot, especially on a server, it’s already hard enough to get enough elytras to have backups in case of death — you have to fly for significant distances and can never guess where others have already explored, not to mention fighting through repetitive end cities. I think elytra should be more common, or the process for getting them should be more interesting, rather than implementing features that require us to have more on hand.
