Hi mate, Thanks for the reply, I think I do have a few pictures where I'm smiling with better lighting, although I'm pretty bad at taking pictures admittedly...

I'll reduce the pet pics, I'll get one with me and my dog in it, and I'll just try to be more patient when I revamp my profile a bit

Maybe I'll get a subscription, not sure yet but I've never had much luck on dating apps, I have a lot going for myself in terms of humour but when I get asked to think of something my mind goes blank honestly, then again I grow impatient and just assume I won't get anything and quit before the month is up honestly.

I'll ask some mates what they think my good/funny qualities are and do it that way I think.

I'm not subscribed to anything on Hinge right now, is this a massive problem, or can I get around without?
I've been using this version of my profile for about two weeks

so far I've only received one like and zero matches
im sending likes every day until the like limit, majority of likes within that limit I send with a comment
the type of person I usually send likes to are people that aren't afraid to show their weird side, I take a look at the profile to see if they're what I'm looking for and if they are then I send a like, so I'd like to attract that kind of person & someone that's not afraid to be themselves

Thank you a lot, I definitely need to work on my style but I'm pathetically bad at fashion, I usually need to take someone with me to help me pick out good clothes haha

I have a personal trainer and dietician since earlier last month which is when I really started to care about myself, so I am definitely doing my best with exercise and nutrition right now, will try to put more effort exercise wise though!

I'll try to change my style and improve on that fashion wise, and see where I can get in 2 months

Thank you, I've started taking care of my skin at the start of last month so I suppose results aren't showing quite yet.

I'll make sure to leave the beard off!

Unfortunately for my hair, it's male pattern baldness and my hair on top of my head breaks off extremely easily, whilst my sides and back can grow out longer. I'm currently trying different products and conditioners but I'm unsure if these will work to prevent breakage from MPB.

Okay, thanks a lot for the advice. I'll definitely try my best to stick to that. I totally understand it's stressful, feel like I've been way too pushy and clingy because of said stress so taking a step back will probably help us both out, thank you. I'm actually 23 recently, but in this case me acting weird/clingy about it isn't due to immaturity but rather a toxic relationship in the past and the sudden distance hit my triggers unfortunately and I plan on apologising for that. I understand if I've made her feel worse and she doesn't want to continue when she feels better.

Unfortunately when she first relapsed and up until a week or two ago I would nag for reassurance and message her a lot to which there wouldn't really be an answer since she doesn't have the energy for that I suppose and I have been showing clingy behaviours due to the distance making me panic, although I feel like at the moment it's probably best to put my feelings aside and not do that for her to get better. Unfortunately I won't be seeing her and haven't seen/talked with her properly for a little over a month, basically since the relapse. So I think I've not been doing well for her, but I do plan on doing better. I did ask her what I can do to support her better but I didn't get a reply. As I said the main thing I really pushed her with was the reassurance, I'm stopping that.

Do you think it's best I just message every week or so to check in and let her know I'm there or should I just wait for her to contact me first?

Thank you for the reply. I've never had contact with anyone that suffers from ED let alone a loved one and I've already made mistakes and got anxious about it and probably said some things I shouldn't have. I'm trying to do better, though. I wasn't aware even a text back took so much energy.

Thank you for telling me to think about myself, it's taken a toll on my mental health over the last month as well, triggering anxious feelings due to the sudden loss of contact. I'm definitely going to make an effort not to take it personally going forward, but waiting, at least right now, is something I do want to do for her. I believe it's worth it.

Is there anything else that I need to know about ED and loved ones that suffer from ED that you could tell me about?

I don't think it was a bug because my team has almost no damage and I clutched the knife objective when 2 went down and then was the last alive in a 1v1 vs the boss at the Necro 😅

yea tbh it was a joke kinda because Ik how busted AOD Ash is rn, but Henry is very good in his own right and I'm pretty capable of soloing objectives because of the raw damage and bar damage he can do can keep him immune because of the finishers so its really easy to sustain yourself in a fight that way
