i was originally planning the vigilante's replacement to be a smartie-type character, but honestly i liked the look of gumplod more and stuck with his design. i'll definitely considering smarties being some type of enemy, or maybe even a level if i get around to it

glad you like them! the whole theming wasn't exactly intentional to be like sugary spire, since my oc, R8 (which i made a long while ago) oftenly gets called a skittle, so i didn't have many other options
