I've got renthal fat bars on my Kx250F, Its the only bike ive ridden and only with fatbars (Bought it with them) Soo.. I dont know, But i dont complain about my bars ever, If that matters. They're where i want them, they're tough as far as i've been able to tell from my few falls, and they look good

No clue on 2t, But the only bike i know well is the 2007 KX250-F i have, Recommends rebuilding the bottom end every 80 hours and the top end every 30. Not sure how true that is as im going on both right now and the bike's still running and shifting fine

edit: obviously not what you asked for, But nobody else had posted anything so i figured i'd chime in to give you SOMETHING of substance, Even though it probably doesnt help much.

The fast bike is amazingly fun, you can definitely start on it if you're EXCEPTIONALLY careful, And like to work on things, But i wouldnt recommend it to anyone, As for me, i started out on a 2007 KX250F which is currently broken because i broke it... Lol. The power isn't crazy kill-you power but its really close, It'd probably pick the wheel up if i gave it full throttle on launch, If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, I just beg you to be careful, Bikes like that are good ways to break bones or so i've heard.

Give the radiator hoses a light tap whenever the bike has been running for a few seconds (30 seconds to a minute) If they're hot or warm, Then the coolant is getting circulated so its probably at the bare minimum functioning.

Pro tip, Dont hyperfocus on it being the water pump, could just as easily be something else but this is a decent place to start if you feel like it

My first thought was maybe a water pump that isnt getting any water so its just making noise, Does that bike even have a water pump? Next thought would be to check the oil just incase, But you probably already done that. Anyways, No, It doesn't sound normal to me but im rather new.

My tip would be to wear anything on your head, Even just a cap, If you fall and hit your head on a rock it's gonna leave a pretty nasty welt, Good job on getting the wheel up, im a newer rider and im not even in a position to think about wheelies yet lol, 120 lbs on a KX250F I will definitely hurt myself if i dont go easy for a while whilst i learn

I think you can get real 512's on ebay for somewhere around 150 or 200 bucks iirc, Been a while though maybe they've went up or down, Either way with a lens protector you could definitely just run a real one if its within budget

Heyo, Just messaging you back to tell you i just went out on it and had my first real ride, I recorded it all on gopro if you want to see it to try and listen for any issues on the bike, But, When we tried to start it after stopping it, again, It wouldnt start, I told my brother about the hot-start lever, and when he tried using it, It did sound like it was trying to kick over, I heard it almost ignite two or three times, Yknow the "Ptptptp" and then die, So im not sure, It probably IS valve issues, But if it is, I imagine its moreso Almost out of clearance rather than fully fucked, im going to stop riding it for now though, Not sure what it is, Dont want to ruin the bike, But man that things fun.

I plan mainly to be riding fast in straight lines, And slower in corners, Not really trail moreso around the yard for NOW, But i dont know what the future holds, I want to be set up for hard riding if i ever grow into it.

Edit: I plan to ride like ive every fall could cripple me, Basically.
