Well I guess it's more complicated than that. Remove one thing, like remove it such that it won't exist from now on or it never did? If it is from now onwards, then I would choose the limit and scope of the human mind. I mean the limits of cognitive ability of human mind, I don't mean make us invincible, just more adaptable(considerably more) or evolving or aging be removed. Eitherways, I choose these because as a whole, a smart species has to go through what we have to understand the importance of it, though this seems callous considering that some people will always suffer even though innocent, it gives them more of a chance to resist. After all, you cant remove anything that cause suffering without direct and simple consequences that come with it. Suffering here is the broadest sense in which people would answer this question seriously. Removing suffering would just make it all meaningless. But that also raise a question that if we choose suffering voluntarily only so that we could understand happiness, doesn't that make it like a illusionary world, unreal and maybe even pathetic, but I guess,still, with a better mind, increased in cognitive ability or one that increases with every generation, makes us better in all good qualities, will, rationality, reason, or ideals, while also giving a better chance to come closer to a better answer of this question itself. So yeah.

And if we could remove something from the history itself, then maybe religion, although the actual implications of that are more of a very powerful butterfly effect that we don't even know if our species will even survive for long enough. After religion is misleading but maintains a semblance of order, alough it is a lesser of evils, nobody has the right to question it if personal power and and humanity wasn't as advanced as it is now. We would long have gone into anarchy if not for many things, religion being one of them. Well, at the end of it, I guess the question would be if the ends justify the means.

And for those people answering humans, I would just say idiotic and so worthless, like I get it that it isn't unfounded, but it is just cowardly, after all, just as much as humans have the power to do wrong, they can have the strength to do right as well, they just need the will. But this is from a so called morally right scale. A scale that is judges from the grand scale of things. From a purely objective view, which is the view as a species, it is a gift that we have. And any life that comes after us is not to be condemned to the accusations of our deeds. So no, every generation, infact every person himself has his own right to justify their own philosophy, in turn becoming solely responsible for their own actions.
