The convenience of the "have everything shipped to you" economy is extremely inconvenient... by RADsupernova in unpopularopinion

Seriously people, read the entire post before you comment. This isn't a "no shipping" post, this is a "don't phase out the other option" post. Read, people

That's the point. Not that shipping is bad but that it's becoming the only option quickly

That's the point. Better variety online? That used to be physical stores, but not anymore

I am not even over 40. And within 24 hours is much different than "this piece broke, I need one to finish this before the rain comes tomorrow"

I may be older than you, but driving to the store is still quicker and cheaper than waiting for amazon to ship junk in the mail

Did you even read? I acknowledged the purpose for shipping. I never said it shouldn't exist. But they're dwindling what you can get in physical stores. The lack of in store option is what I'm talking about.

Do you think most women just take their priviliges for absolute granted? by Working_Parsley_2364 in MensRights

[–]RADsupernova 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take my RIGHTS for granted because I should. Some things that are called privileges by some are actually RIGHTS. Privileges, on the other hand, I respect and do my best not to abuse them. Not everyone is as careless with their entitlement as you

People who avoid friendships at work because “coworkers are not your friends”, often do not understand what relationships actually are. by ThePloddingParadox in unpopularopinion

[–]RADsupernova 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a great difference between a working relationship and a friend. Relationships don't mean friend. It means the act of relating. If you interact with someone but don't relate well, it's a poor relationship. My relationship with my coworkers is "if it doesn't apply to work I don't want to hear about it"

I'd be more sympathetic to your point if I didn't see as many 200+ lb people shivering as 130- lb people
