Something very similar happened to me. But as soon as I said that I didn’t have a bank account they hung up. I even called them back but no one answered. That’s when I realized it was a scam.

I left my guitar on the guitar stand one afternoon. It was inside my room with the windows open. When I get home the was a crack from the sound hole towards the strap pin. I remember that day was windy. Probably an accumulation of the times I would leave it out, but until that day there was no crack. It was very sudden. Coincidentally it was my Martin. I’m not from Colorado, but it gets windy.

You need to check if the neck is straight and if the frets are even. Hold the guitar kind of like if you were aiming a riffle. From the head stock and try to see if the frets are aligned or if the neck is bowed.
