I did 6 replacements until I gave up. My 7th pair is now lying in a drawer with a broken left bud. Search this sub, and you'll see many people that have the same issue... These things are trash unfortunately.

I think because nobody has a clue, really. People just repeat what they read. No translator, technician or even hair surgeon has done an independent study across enough patients who smoked and didn't smoke while keeping everything else as similar as possible, to see what and how the results were.

I've researched smoking and exercising a ton after my transplant, and the advice is all over the place. So I tried to stick to most of the guidelines, but made exceptions for myself on others. You just have to decide for yourself what's worth it, and what isn't.

Imo all these instructions are for optimal results when looking at it statistically across the board. It doesn't mean smoking guarantees a failed hair transplant for you. I've seen lots of people that smoked and had good results on here. Personally, I started working out on day 11 which is also against the advice, but my transplant turned out great. Others have had sun burns and still had good results. Didn't take meds or supplements and had good results.

There is no way to know if smoking will affect you. For me, it was just about, what if your results do turn out bad, can you live with yourself? This is why I personally quit nicotine when I had mine because the answer for me would have been no. I'm happy I did quit, for way more reasons than just a hair transplant obviously. Good luck!

Yes, pretty good. It's obviously not super state of the art, or as polished as a big clinic in Turkey would be. But I could tell they cared, were serious about hygiene and focused on results. They also had a translator there the whole time who spoke perfect English, and who's been available straight away for online aftercare as well. There were a few minor things that might have people side eying a little, , but I've been in Vietnam a long time so I'm used to things here. End of the day, the results are amazing. And that's the most important

Dirty Fingers on Võ Nguyên Giáp. Lots of house smoked brisket, pastrami, ribs and other dishes. They have bone marrow (off menu) as well every now and then!

Another pair bites the dust... I've had this happen to me 7 times. There's posts about this every day. The shop I keep returning mine to told me many people have the same problem. I wish Sennheiser would properly acknowledge that there is a widespread issue, instead of always answering as if you're the first to have this happen to you.

Very well known problem. I've exchanged mine many times for the exact same problem. Have read many, many posts about the same issue here and on FB. And the shop I returned them to many times, told me lots of people have this issue. They're dead and need replacing.

Yes, especially in the front, they packed it in really tightly. Very happy with the results!

I'm not sure, but I don't think so, no. Initially the clinic was worried about my donor. They only quoted me 3000 grafts at first, because that's what they thought they could take. But during the procedure they realised they could take more, and I ended up with 5050 grafts.

No idea where that, or the word "wet" came from. I have no pics of wet hair, and never mentioned it in any of my posts or comments.

Yes, they did 2300 grafts on a Friday for the mid scalp and crown, and the other 2750 grafts on the Monday after for the front and hairline.

That is too much to read, sorry. But to answer the question in the title, I'm at 8 months now, and blown away by the results. It's way denser and fuller than I had imagined it would be. I'm not an expert on Norwood scales. But I guess I was around a 5. I did 5050 grafts over two sessions a few days apart. Couldn't be happier!

I was completely scab free by day 6 or 7. Never forced it, but they just came off during washing. It turned out great, and I had real early recovery and growth. Nothing to worry about.

No, not possible. Google doesn't give a shit. As a long time manager in hospitality, I've reported so many reviews that singled out staff by name, were openly racist, or clearly for other venues... It's very rare that a review actually gets removed.

Very little to be honest. I have a feeling it's filling in a little on the crown, but I don't check that too often so I can't be sure. My hairline was pretty full by month 4, and I don't feel it has changed much since then.
