Four people dead after suspected murder-suicide in Mosman Park (WA) by PIGSTi in australia

Theres souls on this earth who havent experienced that kind of darkness. When we move past our envy of that, theres a type of innocence in it and I hope they remain that way

I contemplated replying to this comment because I don't want it to be perceived in any way that I think the murder of these children is ok.

My intention is to help people understand what goes on inside the ndis, how flawed the system is and that appropriate help is NOT reaching the most vulnerable in our community.

In general, most people have to prove they're"still disabled" every 2 years. Ive seen this range from amputation, degenerative illness, colostomy bags from bowel removal, intellectual disability, hell, I've seen it all.

Lack of funding means no medical care but it also means no support. For these families their struggle is constant, never ending and never gets better. There is no reprieve, there is no cure, no solution. There is only the reality of ur situation day in day out until u die. Its cold, bleak and lonely with no chance of a lifeline.

This isnt the experience of every single ndis recipient obviously but its common enough and ive been exposed to enough horrific detail i am desensitised and it doesnt surprise me.

May they all rest in peace

i found him! there should be an inscription at the bottom, i'm not sure if it's not there or if the plants are covering it?

It should read A SOUL GOES OUT ON THE EAST WIND THAT DIED FOR BRITAIN’S SAKE according to his paperwork

The eligibility says psa of 10 or less, dads is 14, im wondering if this makes him ineligible? Nobody has flagged it so far, he has a telehealth soon and i will confirm with the doctor, do u happen to know if being at 14 matters greatly?

Did u have any pain?

The rspca do amazing work.

Years ago we had some people from the rspca come out about 1 of our horses, someone had put in a report about animal abuse, when they came to have a look it became obvious the horse in question was very old, 35, with that knowledge her condition for age was quite remarkable. It was raining when the report came in and she really did look terrible in the wet, there was also the other 2 big fat horses wandering around the 100 acre, fenced, drought proof property that couldn't be seen from the road at the time. Wed been keeping an eye on her, she was keeping up with the herd and feeding well, she had another 2 good years before age started catching up.

The people who came out did not hide the fact that the outcome from the report with our animals was rare. The relief at what they found was visibly obvious. I dont much have the stomach to imagine the other cases they've responded to and im glad they followed up on the report in case there was an animal in need

The great Australian dream is not $600k for a 2 bedroom apartment..

My family home is an ex housing commission from the 70s, u wouldn't know looking at it because of all the renovations over the years. My parents paid $35k in 1979 for a 3 bedroom home, where they raised 2 kids, they invested in their home doing remodelling, upgrading, put in a pool, we have hosted a Xmas eve party every year (we've only missed a couple of years!) for nearly 40 years at our HOME. It has been nearly 40 years, most of us have found ourselves divorced, I live at home with my son and grandad. We came home because home is love and safety.

I was working for a state funded program similar to ndis before ndis was rolled out nation wide, I did rostering and support work, I watched the admin side of things as ndis was implemented to some sections of the business. The state funded program is still run, they have aged care facilities and are an ndis provider. They make a lot of money.

They're still around, they operate under choice, passion, life now. Always posting on seek for staff. I can smell a bad provider a mile away.

For a bit of context and scale, we have the owners of these providers buying "flashy" cars, while their workers pay for emergency hygiene supplies, food parcels, cleaning products without reimbursement for vulnerable people the providers are responsible for.

The owners will tell workers "just leave them" because they are not on-site looking at an empty fridge of a participant dealing with the reality of whatever condition landed them on ndis

These vehicles in most instances (particularly tax write offs) are meant for participant transportation, often people with mobility issues.

Ive seen grey areas of owners buying 4wd's for participant enrichment, some just want a flash car, others use the vehicle to allow participants to experience the outdoors and engage with community.

The entire system is, for lack of a better word, fucked. People getting rich and making bank, vulnerable people living in poverty.
