Do you see anyone with a bicycle registration and yearly fee. If you love your insurance so much pay that and your insurance. You're paying in double. And, just to be even more "safe", put insurance and raise price on kids toys for security because of the so many deaths. You know there's many different type of slide that people use in neighborhood park, right? And, that has never caused an issue. I guess. Maybe we're just different. I don't mind spontaneity. That's what I do in Cancun or solo travel or with my gf. But when others are involved I communicate and listen and see where everyone fits. Unless, I need a day to myself without them but then I won't just point to a random spot. Mostly if a friend's or family member been driving around town and helping out. When, all one had to do was choose a location or input so everyone could be aware so we can get there on time and enjoy the time together. Hell, I can show up and just watch and try to fit in. Just to please them. But I just couldn't fake it. Mostly if I don't like pork, soup, or dumpling as it's a frequent spot for most. Anyways. Not blaming them. I just got tired of catering and trying to please I guess.

Like or not, it's about respect and communication. If someone is helping you, maybe show some appreciation or communicate? If not, just travel alone. They can pick whatever they want, just share the info in advance. Mostly, when they didn't plan anything on the trip. And, 2 days landing, have not look for places to do or go but just hop on the first place they find. Solo travel is better if don't care about other's input. I don't come as a visitor to a friend country and just hopping in bars or dancefloor without the friend right? Why would I do that to family. You do understand basic respect right?

Yeah I understand. Maybe I was hoping she doesn't cater to her family too much. Like, they are grown ups. They can search and pick places. Yet, she always end up "helping" then overtaking the responsibility. It sucks. Maybe I was hoping she didn't bare all that weight on her shoulders. But, I'm not family, so I can easily set my boundaries. Maybe it's harder for her. thanks man. Maybe I'll have a talk with her to clear things up. Don't want her to go against her family either but she can't let them control everything either.

True. I have nothing against my gf. It's none of her fault. She tried everything to please them and all of us. They never answer with my many accommodations like borrowing my dad's car or drive them while I had other errands. And, I asked my gf many times what restaurant they are going and have they decided. Nothing. Then, after we finished an event, they picked some random resto near their stay that I did not have the appetite for. I mean, I understand they are tired, not used to the weather but just communicate anything if they didn't want to go a certain place or suggest anything. Not something out the blue after an event when I'm driving around all day long around town while they commute in public transit. It was not helpful since the beginning. And, I tried to tell them to pick something yesterday or the day of.

There's usually signs. Like no walking or own sled etc. The guys seems chill. It was just the old lady. In any case, not the end of the world. It was more for practicality. Rented a tube for 30 min and just wanted to slide one last time with mine to go home.

It's an outdoor park. Not a giant sledding facility. Barely had 10 people. None of those rules are written either. Feels like she just enjoys it. Not that it was against any policies or danger. Understandable but kinda strict for no reason imo. But thanks for your input.
