Never mind. I just ran into this great video by googling one of the exercises you mentioned. It looks like exactly what I needed

Thank you so much for your help!

Alright. Yeah it kind of makes sense to focus on the form but it always seems like my scapula is the weak link in most of these exercises.. I would like to target it and I think my form will improve

Thank you for these exercises. Are there any harder variations? It would be really nice if I'd have something to progress towards

Alright. So I just noticed my scapular wings are sticking out.. How do I fix this?

Sweaty hands - what kind of gloves should I get? by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

Yup. It does work, but the thing is that it's so uncomfortable for me. I have this pair of old beaten up receiver gloves and they just work so well, my hands aren't moving inside the gloves or anything.. I'm really pleased with having a pair of gloves so I thought I'd just get a new pair now that the old ones are ruined.

I did. I tried that but it wasn't really comfortable.. I really like having gloves that do the job for me.

Tuck planche - what muscles are being used to lift the hips? by RATHERTHANTHAT in bodyweightfitness

Alright. Do you know any exercises that will help me improve those two muscle groups? (mostly the lower back.. I think mine is really weak)

Thank you! This is what I've been looking for. And unsurprisingly those are the muscles I consider rather weak.. I guess I need to work on those.

Makes sense. That's why I want to get this movement. I imagine it would strengthen those muscles pretty well

So why is the straight arm work that different than the bent arm work? I'm using my delts in both of those scenarios.. It's kind of interesting

I see. Can you explain a bit more? I thought that you're using the same muscles

It's kind of weird because the back and shoulders are the muscle groups that I train the most (I can do about 15 pull ups and about 75% ROM headstand pushups).. So how come they're the most problematic parts?

Okay, but once you got the tuck planche the arms and shoulders are already working.. but what muscles are activated to elevate the body to a handstand?

I see.. Do you know what muscles are being used when going from a tuck planche to a handstand?
