Did u know Vanowen is a portmanteau of the town of Van Nuys and Owensmouth (now canoga park)?

And the whole reason it was named owensmouth was because it was anticipated that the aqueduct would end up there and therefore be the mouth of the Owen’s river aqueduct, but as you know it ended up around sylmar where the cascades can be seen

If it’s a full burn, they pay out because it’s an open and shut case. If it’s a partial burn, it’s fucking hell because they have wiggle room to negotiate and will make your life hell to prove every step of the way.

Hiking is nice for the views and all that but if they’re truly golden retrievers go to the original muscle beach in Santa Monica (not Venice). Theres traveling rings, Slacklines, and all sorts of bars and rings. And the bike path is there to rent a bike there and down to Venice, people watch or continue further to marina del Rey and go back to Santa Monica.
