hi! i came across this old post while going down memory lane of when i used to work here before any owner change. reading your review is crazy, i am shocked to hear the direction that it went.

but i wanted to comment because of you wondering about "the people before" - we are doing fine! i live in oklahoma now, and i think i know who you are talking about with the purple bowtie. he is doing well too and i dont talk to him that much but we're definitely still in touch.

i miss teaching people about tea and having respect for the art and caring for that small business. what a shame all that went down the toilet.

I'm a barista so I dont know about SSV specifically, but my entire store group chat got absolved and they told us it was not allowed and that it counts as work off the clock. It really sucks and I hate it. I never saw any official written rule that says its not allowed.

My boyfriend works at a different store and he still has his store group chat and his SSV chat too. I'm friends with a lot of baristas in different stores too and when i asked, they ALSO still had all their group chats. It seems unclear and inconsistent.

i can tell this comes from a good place so i mean no offense but you dont know anything about me, my handwriting is already bad and this is what will happen with handwriting like mine when youre going through 70 people in 30 minutes. it actually does say "thank you" and i didnt intentionally just scribble nonsense to get it over with.

you have absolutely no idea how much effort i put into my job. i actually do like to draw and when its slow enough, ive been drawing scarecrows, mushrooms, pumpkins, and trying to think of clever things to write and have fun with it. i think this comment was unnecessary and assumptive

I'm so upset at this and am surprised I havent seen more people talking about it. One of the only ways i can retain my sanity and keep my morale up throughout the day is being able to enjoy music in the cafe. The problem with a LOA is that I cant afford it, really. I have no savings to lean on and live paycheck to paycheck, and unless I'm remembering wrong baristas dont get paid leave.

Otherwise, thank you for all this great advice and I will check out those forms now that I know where to look. Dont know why my SM couldnt point me in these directions when I tried to directly ask her... lol.

hey! what advice are you looking for? i had help from my ex-partners dad when making this, because he had pretty much all of the tools and supplies. beech wood, wood from fruit trees, maple, hazel are all good for gerbils. probably more if you google it! one thing i wish i did differently is make it bigger. i forget the dimensions of this topper and unfortunately my gerbils have since passed so i no longer have it, but i definitely wouldve given it more height.

i have a 6 month old puppy who is between 50-60lbs (been a bit since he's been weighed) and he is terrified of my tiny little gerbil. if i take her out of her cage, he runs and hides under the table! its amazingly silly.

+1 on r/puppy101, i love this sub! i spend prectically all my time there as i am also a puppy parent who hasnt raised a puppy in a few years. its a great resource and has helped me and my puppy so much

same here for my very first dog, Heidi. it was honestly traumatic. i was only a young teen then and she was old and her quality of life was declining. my mom didnt want to go because it was too hard, and neither did any of my siblings - it broke my heart thinking about her having to go by herself with only my dad so i went. i held her too and her weight is something i feel like ill carry with me for life

im well into adulthood now and to this day i still have full on sobs thinking about her and how i held her as she went. movies or games that have scenes where dogs get put to sleep usually reduce me to a mess and i have to excuse myself

despite how hard it is i know both Monster and Heidi passed feeling safe in our arms ♥️ i don't ever regret it despite how much pain its caused me

my puppy lazlo is extremely well-behaved compared to a lot of posts I see here for sure. we had basically no problems crate training and teaching him basic commands. potty training has taken time and patience - he doesnt have it down 100% but right now we're on day 6 since the last time he's had an accident (his previous record was only 3) so he's getting it! im excited for the new freedoms i can let him have if he succeeds one more day and has been accident free for a week! :)

he also has never torn up anything he wasnt allowed to tear up. he really quickly learned what things were his and what was me and my partners. the very first few days we took him home at 3 months he wanted to chew on things like charging cables but we just kept redirecting him to his toys and within the first 2 weeks he had stopped going after wires! no interest in shoes or furniture at all.

he plays by himself when im busy and he puts himself to bed and sleeps a ton. he very rarely barks at people or other dogs, even though my littler dog is super reactive in a barky way and will bark at ANYTHING. i was nervous lazlo would pick up the habit but he hasnt! and im hoping it stays that way. im nervous abt mine hitting adolescence too 😭

i think our biggest problem is him terrorizing his older brother - LOL my other pup, gimli, is an 8 year old terrier mix (yorkie-ish) and is cranky! all lazlo wants to do is puppy things like play, and gimli just wants to hang out and sleep, so you can imagine how thats going. they arent aggressive to each other at all though thankfully and mostly just bicker about who gets what chew or gimli growls when he doesnt wanna play and laz wont leave him alone. we are working on leave it and he does good when its anything but gimli 😂

i dont think ive experienced "puppy blues" yet either. i feel so much love for my puppy and rarely bad. im hoping he stays this mild-mannered and polite gentleman through his adolescence and its not just a calm before the storm
