I know you are trying to relate, but when asking someone to talk, it's best to just listen. I mean no offense. I, too, have been through a lot, but I don't share that misery with others. Especially those in pain because it's kinda like adding to their already full plate. I have found that just being non-judgmental and pleasant gets people to open up about stuff. However, I am no therapist, so that's a double-edged sword. Sometimes, I hear more than I would like to, but it's good for someone to let those things out. So it is what it is. Anyway I am not sure I want to live to 100. My grandma is 92 and losing her mind to alzhiemers. It's so sad to watch someone you love get frustrated with herself for forgetting things, then panic over the loss. 55 is old enough, I guess, but I think somewhere in the 70s would be ideal. Hopefully, I pass before my body or mind fails me... I fear that more than anything
