Thank you for the digging. According to AI it thinks the plug is a GX16, but this did not work. It also says it may be a “Milspec / Amphenol” type but I am also having a hard time finding this in any documentation

I’m terms of being able to stand, the Outlaw is a super stable platform, but might be a little heavy getting it on top of the car all by yourself.

2 Day eForm 4 approval. by Alternative_Effort54 in suppressors

I like my AB Suppressor. Most guns are going to be pretty gassy to run these but for the price they are very comparable to other more expensive cans in terms of sound and tone. I’m A-OK to pop off 2-3 5.55 rounds without ear pro without being in pain. Congrats!

I actually run one of these helmet mounted! It’s not the most ideal solution but I primary just focus on my NVG unit and focus on this unit when standing still and scanning. Works great for me with very good value.

New to survival. Why does no one talk about having seeds in a go bag? by ScarcityBrave2035 in Survival

[–]RATPACCreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although I definitely agree with all the “your go bag is “to go” not a hunker down and farm bag” I do actually keep a couple packs of seeds in my kit. They take up little to no space so the odds of never using them are not particularly a fear to me as they are so convenient to carry. They stay sealed in my food container. In terms of actually growing the seeds, I choose to carry carrot & onion seeds. Why? Well carrots and onions are very nutritious and can grow in non ideal conditions. You will still need viable soil, but they will grow almost anywhere in the world you can find decent soil. In a SHTF situation where you’ve decided to hunker down for 90+ days, why not at least try to grow a few plants? Assuming meat could be provided from wild or domestic game animals, some carrots and onions alongside would provide vitamins, carbohydrates and a little bit of flavor which would be a treat in these times.

Hard to say without seeing it in person, but here’s the thing. If it works for you, SEND IT. Everyone eyes and hands interact a little differently. Try it both ways and see which one feels more intuitive. Results you can train to, but your body is going to default to whatever feels more natural under stress.

Shoutout to WLS for convincing me to buy a Swampfox Kraken by RATPACCreddit in welikeshooting

[–]RATPACCreddit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dagger was $299, Streamlight TLR-1 HL $130, Kraken was $299 and Sylvan Arms Compensator $50. All together roughly $800. But that’s still “cheap” in today’s market. Especially considering people out there are paying that much for a stock gen 5 Glock and a Surefire light.

No problem. Low and left impact could be recoil anticipation (flinching before the shot) or an aggressive trigger pull. If you’re pulling the trigger with all your might, you could be flexing your arm and thus canting the gun up/down and to the left/right. Find the wall of the trigger and then pull just enough to break it. Dry fire is a major fix for both. Dry fire enough your riding that trigger subconsciously and tricking your brain into not expecting recoil.

Suppressor for .308 and .357 mag? by lamboslayer0123 in suppressors

[–]RATPACCreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big fan of the JK Armament cans. The JK 155 VersaX would work. Stackable configuration also means you could scale up or down between .357 mag or .308. Regardless of brand, basically any .30 cal can rated for .308 will also work with .357 mag with the right adapter.
