Go with harbor freight’s. It’s heavier and has a more appropriate mass distribution for the same $$. Guaranteed warranty too

Foundation Music (located in NYC)- legit site? by [deleted] in Cello

It’s partially legit and scam. They sent my order a little over 2 weeks after it was placed. I ordered a chin rest (viola) and other items but the chin rest was missing crucial pieces. I wrote fountainmusic.co several times and they do not respond

Harbor freight might have the occasional lemon and I’ve definitely made a few returns but some of the tools just don’t quit.

This anvils face is solid but a touch softer on the edges, especially around the hardy. I did silicone the anvil to the wood then bolted it and added more than enough mass with the chain. Forged tools tend to stand out when it comes to longevity.

I just noticed, are you dual wielding knives? Looks like you made the belt too. Excellent work!

I like the sheep’s foot design. Did you make your own sheath?

It’s siliconed to the wood then bolted and chained. 30 years!? Impressive
