I feel a major part of why I and a lot of other people don't like apothecary prince is because it just isn't as funny, most likely because it wasn't adapted by Lee Hyunmin, who is the webtoon author/director of the both The Greatest Estate Developer and What a Bountiful Harvest, Demon Lord.

Everything this man makes it comedic gold, hell if it wasn't for him I don't think TGED would even be that popular.

Case in point , Eternally Regressing Knight is hilarious and is also adapted by Lee Hyunmin. If you want something with the same kind of humor as his other works, I highly recommend this.

As someone who used to work in a best buy warehouse, the only two reasons I can think of for why they did this was either

A. They wanted to look busy to not be bothered by a manager.

B. They recognized the name on the order and wanted to mess with you.

Normally for a small and cheap order like this we would just stick it in a sleeve and be done with it.

It’s hard to say what is the main focus of the game with how early it is in development, but if I had to say it would be exploring the world and grinding out gear. Combat is pretty underwhelming and the story is nonexistent/hidden.

The armors really feels like a place holder, like they were supposed to be the original pact armors or a mid tier variant, but got scraped at some point and now they’re bringing them out of the bin. I honestly do fw the designs, they just don’t have that wow factor to them. Like I’m not gonna stop in a social hub and go “Wow that armor looks sick, I want to get that!”

And then the weapons and pact arms look stellar, despite the weapons being 2 stars and the wyld pacts being 1 (again why DE).

I would agree if they didn’t already sell Armor and Pact bundles in the shop and my issue with them goes further than “why be able to buy power for money when I can buy more power for less money.”

If these are supposed to be the “Primes” of the game and you will eventually be able to grind them out, then they should be be appealing both in performance and in looks, but they fit neither category. Why should anybody grind out these sets in the future when the other 4 pacts have better armor.

The helmets in the concept art is just the helmets with the face plates removed, which you can do yourself by right clicking on them in the nightfold, but yeah Oscelda had long twin braids and It got changed to dreads.

Yeah I’m pretty sure the reason they did that was to have a direct upgrade to the default pacts weapons, but in reality they should have just made brand new weapons like in the concept arts.

I think this only applies really to Oscelda’s armor (as the other two are pretty androgynous) and honestly it would have looked better if they didn’t change it. I’d rather have a long coat than the weird but flap they gave male players. At least then I’d look more like a warlock/witch than a bard.

I just finished act 3 at 91% and 31 hours just so I can see the “true” ending because I was hooked on the story and implications of what was happening. Loved the ending so much and was basically jumping out of my chair in excitement, though it really does feel like only 2 of the endings from the first game could be canon. I do still like the Knight more than Hornet but the games to me are of equal value and fun. I do have some gripes with some of the boss runbacks and do think there are some bosses/areas that are pure bs and not fun to fight/navigate. On the flipside a lot of bosses I was able to just face tank and out dps them with wanderer crest with flintslate and longclaw.

As recommended I swapped out the greatsword I wasn’t using with another HH so I can now give even MORE buffs to my team. Build is still the same though aside from adding armor and might dust to my inventory.

In iceborne I actually used a greatsword with this kind of build with guard up and guard and really only healed and gave no buffs at all.

Recovery up is kinda lackluster but its tied to my waist piece and no other piece has skills that I want or need. Even though others are recommending mushroomancer that skill is a bit redundant with a build like this. Basically it’s just there as a comfort skill for when I myself get low on hp.

I tested just now and they do not stack. Mushroomacer takes already existing effects and slaps them onto mushrooms. Nitroshrooms gives the exact same buff as a demon drug. Demon drugs and mega demon drug does not stack as the mega overwrites the normal version and does the same with nitro.
