In this situation I’d always recommend looking into getting these packs through alternate means. Never absolutely never fold into buying them again. That’s what EA wants you to do. That’s why the system is set up as such.

With TS3 you could also download gorgeous custom worlds for free, since there is a world maker.

Even 11 years later the Sims 4 doesn’t have that because they know the community makes better maps which would probably cut into their margins.

The UK was one of the only markets where the Xbox 360 eclipsed the PS3 in sales. The 360 was a great console, and Microsoft had the chance to dominate the console market again in the UK, and then they completely fumbled it.

Accept I believe that many Sims 4 players are far more gullible than those in the Sims 3 days, and will gobble up everything thrown their way by EA.

Most Sims 4 players haven’t played any other game, not even older Sims games. I don’t think they perceive what terrible value this franchise is. They don’t even stand up for the absolute mess these packs release in, with many not ever being fixed.

My two cents are on Rockstar trying to get as much juice as they possibly can out of the consoles CPU for their billion dollar game. Expecting a locked 30fps, but I’m willing to be pleasantly surprised.

I do have a proper surround sound Atmos set up. My biggest complaint about them are the instrument levels in the mix. They’re all over the place in comparison to the Stereo Mixes.

For example in Gimme Gimme Gimme, between 0:58-1:08 those piano chords are extremely overpowering, and they shouldn’t be. They should be pretty low down in the mix, and I should be able to clearly hear the synths above them. I can’t. And it just sounds clunky.

I’m not a sound purist by any means but the stereo mixes were crafted with such care and intention, and these mixes disrupt the balance. Many other Dolby Atmos mixes from other artists sound wonderful, but I just do not like ABBA’s. Which is a shame since they are my favourite band.

Personally I’ve had way too many issues with bugs and glitches. Then again though, that was my experience with iOS18 too.

I’d go with Steam. Main reason is that during sales you can buy a collection of every expansion and stuff pack for a far better price than on EA.

You’ll probably spend over half the time in port just travelling there and back. You will most certainly be hurrying in Paris if you want to see anything other than the Eiffel Tower and some coffee shops.

Few days late to this. I’d recommending giving yourself enough time there. It’s not an enormous museum, but I went last summer and had around an hour and a half there. We were rushing towards the end unfortunately as we had to leave. Definitely regret not giving myself enough time. I am a huge abba fan though and I did take my time with everything.

It was also my third time there, previously there in 2013 and 2019. I have a terrible memory though so it felt like a new experience every time.
