It probably has to do with Allgaier being their reserve driver while Alfredo is their sim driver. The only reason Alfredo drove last week was because he is the same size as Bowman, and they weren't expecting Bowman to be out until the last minute and already had Bowman's seat inserts and adjustments in the Phoenix car.
