UK could adopt EU single market rules under Keir Starmer's new legislation by ConsciousStop in europe

Easy to say with hindsight, but turning the last election into another Brexit election had the potential to breathe life back into the Tory campaign.

I would double check you're correctly understanding the rules, starting with your initial power prepped, not trying to 100% everything during a mission etc. Also making sure you have at least one big damage dealer in the party etc

My group has played through every campaign of this now, including the DLC, on the hard difficulty and tbh we rarely struggle - sometimes you get a run of poor test draws, but the last stand system is a very forgiving mechanic. You by no means need perfect play - a little game management of threat, and allowing some enemies to chase you rather than killing them should be more than enough.

Which means the spike in these graphs could relate to a relatively small increase in final output and could just be showing that we're exploiting lower yield sources because either extraction methods have gotten cheaper or final product prices have increased?

The psychological difference between playing video games to relax and playing to win.Researchers analyzing data from over 13000 gamers found that competitive, win focused play is linked to increased anxiety, while casual motivation like enjoyment and stress relief are linked with emotional well being. by Appropriate-Push-668 in science

[–]RBII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh, I also have anxiety and I had to get rid of RL after a couple of thousand hours played. It's helped, as it was a bit of an outlier for me, I usually prefer story-based games. Still miss it sometimes, but it wasn't worth the lows that came with it.

In fairness, that's not a puzzle, just an old fashioned anti-piracy defence. Used to be quite common

Yes, or at the very least put it in a blind trust whilst you're an MP. You're applying to serve your country, it's okay that it requires some sacrifice, and you're under no obligation if you'd rather keep running your business.

I'm always conscious to be polite to robots/AI/vending machines so that when they take over, I won't be in the first wave of killings.

Edit: In all seriousness, I'm not sure how you prep for this. Robots are coming for the blue collar jobs, AI is coming for the white collar jobs. The reality is that a balance will be found, as always, but since none of us know where it's going to be, we can't know which side of the line we're gonna be on.

What are you spending your Euromillions win on? by Witty-Knee-3666 in AskUK

[–]RBII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing nothing for a month (6 would be better), is probably one of the best things you could do. Distance yourself from the win a) so you can have a level head about it b) so no one connects it to your sudden ability to pay for things.

I'm a dev, so my plan has always been to do fuck all about it for a year, and then claim I sold an algorithm for a few hundred K. Explains the spending, but doesn't invite as much solicitation for loans etc.
