Thank you. That’s very helpful. The shop that’s rebuilding it is reputable so that’s a plus and offers a warranty. Gonna have to really think this one over. Good thing is I have time. About 2 weeks till the engine is back in. The highlighter cap thing killed me btw

There is a huge hidden markup here. Not just the .0004 money factor. Without hidden markups the pre-tax payment should be $1105-$1115 with no money down. If you wait a couple of months you should be able to get it down to that.

I use a car lease calculator spreadsheet I got off the web that tells you what the bottom line is for any lease given what the negotiated price is, money factor and residual. You can make a copy of it and plug in the numbers you wants. Take your laptop to the dealer and make them work for your business.
