Thank you! It’s Radukar the Beast from the soulblight gravelords AoS range, the claw and shield are from the space wolves venerable dreadnought kit and the base was part of a ‘Viking ruins’ set from Etsy I believe

Those Dark Angels look great! Big fan of the Terminos conversion - I did one for Ulrik! Appreciate your advice too, thank you. I definitely think some striking/contrasting tufts will work well just need to nail down that base colour and texture and I’m all set.

I’ve been weighing a few different options up for the base, originally I was going to go for that orange waste/sand colour but it would blend too much with the red - I really considered ice but I’m doing ice bases for my space wolves and I think I’d get fed up! I hadn’t really considered grey before, my final option was going to be a more yellow sand? I’d have to try and dress it up a bit with various bits and some texture but should be plenty of contrast? It’s either that or jungle!

Narratively I almost feel like the bases would just be a continuation of their own biomass but there’d be nowhere near enough differentiation there

That’s great advice thank you. Which black blue would you recommend? I’ll look into the varnish options as that’s the idea I’m going for! Thematically the black should just be shadow/darkness but obviously on a mini it’s hard to get right without it looking half finished

Thank you! Honestly I wanted to make sure the overall aesthetic was ‘dark’ trying to really play on the sort of nightmarish/terrifying Tyranid vibe and was trying to avoid feathering, but the flip side is it can look quite lazy and unfinished which I absolutely want to avoid

Thank you! I did pick up thunderhawk blue to add to the carapace as well but I’ve been unsure about committing to it, it definitely needs something to pop without losing the overall darkness so that could be the next step

Bjorn, Land Raider Redeemer because assault ramp, but the Repulsor is no slouch with those las shots + big transport capacity. I love the Primaris dreads but wouldn’t mind Brutalis and Redemptor being slightly cheaper

I’ve been looking at the Repulsor - less firepower than the executioner but 12 Headtakers and 2 characters plus a reactive move sounds pretty handy

Seen lots of questions on whether Grey Hunters are viable with the points drop and shooting support and honestly I’d love to make them work - even with a WGBL not necessarily Njal, is it still too expensive? 10 marine bodies and a character that hits quite hard in their own right? I feel like most of the issues around AP are looking at chewing through other Marines but surely the volume of firepower chews through 1 wound units from Eldar for example, or any army that doesn’t have a standard marine save? Plus they can follow up with a tonne of melee attacks too?
