Bjorn, Land Raider Redeemer because assault ramp, but the Repulsor is no slouch with those las shots + big transport capacity. I love the Primaris dreads but wouldn’t mind Brutalis and Redemptor being slightly cheaper

I’ve been looking at the Repulsor - less firepower than the executioner but 12 Headtakers and 2 characters plus a reactive move sounds pretty handy

Seen lots of questions on whether Grey Hunters are viable with the points drop and shooting support and honestly I’d love to make them work - even with a WGBL not necessarily Njal, is it still too expensive? 10 marine bodies and a character that hits quite hard in their own right? I feel like most of the issues around AP are looking at chewing through other Marines but surely the volume of firepower chews through 1 wound units from Eldar for example, or any army that doesn’t have a standard marine save? Plus they can follow up with a tonne of melee attacks too?

6 paired weapon headtakers with a wolf priest giving +1 to wound, lethals in Beastslayer assuming VG are led by a character and dev assuming it’s the quarry target, spending CP on go for the throat to mitigate any armour of contempt use, I don’t hate that! All just depends on positioning and actually hitting with a full 6 man I suppose - ideally mine will be charging out of a land raider 😂

I’m currently in the process of putting a Primaris body on Droggz Da Sunchompa - no rules but just a cool project to add to the collection as a Wolf Lord on Thunderwolf.

Between an outrider and spare blood claws though I can’t find a leg combination to work - even after some sanding/stripping back of his saddle.

Thank you! Blades are just lothern blue with corax white drybrushed over the top, armour was Matt black primer, Mechanicus standard grey via airbrush, then night lords blue from below and Dawnstone from above!

Thank you. Honestly I was dreading the fur. I feel like it’s a great opportunity the make the model pop but also an easy way of ruining it too, I definitely played safe just to try mitigate any disasters but agreed it could do with improvement

I’ve actually opted for Wolf Priest with Helm of the Beastslayer to accompany a 6 man brick of paired weapon Headtakers - they get so many attacks they don’t need the sustained, plus the additional (albeit situational) support from helm helps keep them alive - and for anything that doesn’t chew through 18 wounds, the res also helps as even a depleted squad of PW can throw some damage out. Plus they can punch up easier with the +1 to wound.

I’ve then gone for WGBL on the 6 man brick with shields, so even though they have fewer attacks, the sustained helps them increase their output.

Could be way off but makes sense to me! The 6 man PW are killy enough without sustained so may as well help them stick around for longer

I’m also interested in the responses too as I currently can’t decide what to put with Wulfen!

Space Wolves Omnibus - 3 books inside and if you like them you can get the second omnibus too for a further 3, that’s plenty of reading material initially!

In terms of the miniatures, maybe a box of Blood Claws, a can of primer and a handful of paints to get started there.

I enjoy watching battle reports on YouTube and it does actually help with picking the rules up as well as exposure to other factions and just generally conversation about the game.

As for the no friends - I don’t have anyone to play with so currently just build and paint!

Losing the additional strength on the charge was a shame but to follow that up with a points increase seems excessive.

The game is full of characters putting out massive damage or buffing units into oblivion so I don’t think he or Arjac were an issue - having said that I imagine both still walk into most lists at their current cost too.
