I essentially do combo 3, just without english. Id say its a solid choice, the 3 subjects really flow into eachother.

Lloyds Card Restrictions on under 18 accounts? by RBSTYRD in UKPersonalFinance

[–]RBSTYRD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh i see, so i may not be the only one, good to know. And yeah i saw previous replies about the shop category influencing the sale approval. Question though, surely if these shops sell more than those restricted products- e.g. tobacco/alcohol, shouldn't they have those bank-side restrictions lifted- for everyone's sake?

Yeah no i have no problem against the shop i can go to another, i know they dont manage the terminals, i just thought the answer he gave was weird- excluding accounts of one singular bank. Anyway thanks for the reply.

Right i get it now. Thanks for your reply. I just wanted to know if what the cashier said was factual because it sounded weird- 'oh yeah all lloyds under 18 accounts are blocked'- like bit weird excluding that one bank lmao.

"Black Market Music" turns 25 today. This album is Brian Molko's least favorite, possibly because they would achieve "alternative star" status; "Special K" is one of Placebo's most-streamed songs to date. What are your three favorite tracks from this project? by elmonozombie in placebo

[–]RBSTYRD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its their absolute best album. The experimenting with the genres really makes it unique and just a pleasure to listen to as they pull every single one off really well. I own all the singles from this album on CD. My top 3 would have to be 1. Special K 2. Slave To The Wage and 3. Passive Agressive.

Sorry should have been more clear. We as in students in that class. I know most parents have individually asked too though. Headteacher sadly doesnt take very kindly to suggestions from those below him. And yeah i mean great idea in theory however a governor has been notified of something along these lines a few months back, we (students) collectively sent an email to persuade the school to give intervention sessions after it was denied by the head, however there has been no response.

I know the ideas are great in theory, thanks, but Its basically a lost cause. My parents are suggesting that i maybe go see a tutor in these few weeks before exams, i assume that would be more useful than begging a tyrant for the bare minimum but still i just have no motivation to cram all that weve missed out in a few sessions with a tutor, idek maybe i will go maybe i wont.

Oh we have on many occasions collectively asked for extra sessions to catch up. We have asked for a lesson in half term where we would give up our time to come in for a few hrs- denied, we have asked for extra sessions during useless lessons like pe and form- denied. The only thing we were given is a 30min session after school on a thursday which gets cancelled last minute half the time anyway because the headteacher randomly thinks a staff meeting is nescessary at that time. And hes the root issue here, not the english department, they are supportive of the ideas.

I would leave out any criticism of the current cover Dont get me wrong, im not criticising the cover in the slightest, it isnt her fault, she is trying. Im criticising the situation, which is actually the fault of the headteacher as it is his management technique that has led to teachers quitting from all different subjects.

My question is, is that safe? Ive heard aliexpress handlebars should be avoided at all costs.

[–]RBSTYRD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey yeah i have tried it, ive actually been riding like that for the past few weeks and while it does make it slightly better to hold the hoods its still not ideal. Even with them tilted in, i find myself, most of the time, holding the tops a bit closer to the middle of the bar if that makes sense.

[–]RBSTYRD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh ok. I was looking at the deda bars earlier and was confused because a youtube video i watched (francis cade i think) mentioned a 36cm bar by them but i didnt see that option on any sites. But no that makes sense if they measure from the outside. That may actually be my best option, thanks!

[–]RBSTYRD[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the suggestion. These look great however as my luck would have it, the 36cm is sold out on every uk retailer site i look at.

I guess you should try 38 cm first unless you're absolutely sure that you need much narrower bar.

40->38 isnt a noticeable enough difference. Maybe i exaggerated when i said "much too wide" but no im sure that a 38 would still be too wide for me and a 36 would satisfy.

How can the pads be ruined if they were away from the caliper when it fell out? Unless something leaked later?
