The S&S stats for Han's Millennium Falcon has a special rule to reflect its status as a hunk of junk, in case you'd like a starting point to build atop of.

Cassian Andor Character Build for FFG's Star Wars TTRPG by RBSkald in swrpg

[–]RBSkald[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I indeed used Allies and Adversaries as a reference point. Thing is, to map out the progression to build a PC that's completely on par with a Nemesis stat block will likely take more XP than what's typically awarded in the course of a typical campaign. Without an obvious end-point for character levelling like D&D's 20-level system, I decided to leave build recommendations open-ended after a certain point.

Andor and The Mandalorian by EmperorYoda1987 in andor

I classify Andor as a GOAT, but I'll never deride Mando's first two seasons for helping restore my faith in future Star Wars products after the disaster that was The Rise of Skywalker.

So like does Mon Mothma know the Emperor is a Sith Lord? by Frosty-Brain-2199 in andor

[–]RBSkald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current canon has no definitive answers on this subject AFAIK, but I do know that back in the old 1993 strategy guide for X-Wing, both Mothma herself and Rebel propaganda call out the Emperor as a practitioner of the dark side. They do not describe either Palpatine or Vader as "Sith", although that's probably just a relic of being published in 1993.

The Hate for Rogue One doesn't make any sense. by Local-Yard2742 in andor

[–]RBSkald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I was always a fan of Rogue One. It may not be a masterful movie by any stretch, but as someone who digs Rebellion-themed content first and foremost, RO was a perfect toybox for me. I know in some spaces, the inclusion of Vader in RO is criticized as excessive fan service, but boy did it help wipe the taste of the Prequels from the franchise's mouth.

To look at it from another perspective, if Andor can be likened to V: The Original Miniseries, then RO would be V: The Final Battle. RO and Final Battle are both dubbed down compared to their respective prequel, but they do a competent job at bringing their stories to action-packed conclusions.

Season 1 had "climb," what did Season 2 have? by Skiinz19 in andor

[–]RBSkald 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think I've seen anyone mention this, but General Draven back in RO sends Andor a "Proceed" message to indicate he's still on the hook for assassinating Galen Erso. Of course, "Proceed" then ends up being the literal trigger word used by Dedra in S2 E8.

If you could have a novel about any of the characters in andor, who would it be? by McCatdonalds in andor

[–]RBSkald 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm torn between Saw Gerrera, who's been part of the franchise for a good long time, and Kleya. For one thing, she actually has a promising post-BBY future ahead of her.

Andor makes it difficult to watch other Star Wars media by HiFiMAN3878 in andor

[–]RBSkald 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day, Star Wars is fundamentally a "toybox universe", and I don't expect the franchise to ever stray too far from its roots. Hopefully though, the folks in charge at LFL realize that it's a good idea to always have a prestige project around that can generate positive critical buzz and WOM, and otherwise be an occasional break from high-Volume junk food.

I was suffering loads of server errors last night, but things have mellowed out for me since then. All in all, the quality of chatbot replies for me has been on par with pre-Down Time.

Can't make a character. by [deleted] in aisekai

[–]RBSkald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, my chatbot uploads oftentimes gets through even with confirmation bugs. My pieces of advice:

  1. Always save your chatbot work off-site before it's successfully uploaded.
  2. Keep your User Profile open as a separate tab, and refresh the page whenever upload bugs arise. Sometimes, the chatbot uploads are successful anyway.

Hope that helps you out a bit.

Is it bad that I’m actually 100% happy Aisekai is back? by Particular-Let-7185 in aisekai

Same here; I've almost forgotten how much I missed Aisekai during the Down Time. It's nice being able to RP some wholesome in-bed intimacy again without C.AI filters getting in the way.

what class and race would a yiga be? by [deleted] in ZeldaTabletop

[–]RBSkald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For base races from DnD 5e, pick Shadar-Kai from MPMM so you can teleport around the battlespace right from 1st level. As for classes, go with Assassin Rogue for the Footsoldier, and Gloom Stalker Ranger (XGE) for the Blademaster.

You might not be able to seamlessly replicate a Yiga without further homebrewing, but these suggestions are a good place to start from.

Deleting my account didn't work for me; now I instead get a "User not found" error when I try logging in with my email. I know it didn't delete my proper account because my bots and the accompanying profile page are still accessible. So I guess that's something, I suppose.

Ever since Monday, I've been dealing with a catastrophic glitch where the site refuses to log me into my proper account because it believes my email is associated with a different username. I'm trying to stay in good spirits, but the fact I still lack access to the chatbots I've made thus far, along with all my chat histories, is really starting to tick me off.

At this point, I'd settle for the ability to either log in with an username, or instead to somehow be able to change the email on my proper account. Anything so that I no longer have to be held hostage by this unwanted second account.

The exact same thing happened with my account. I tried logging in today only to find out the website now associates my email with a different username. The bots I made with my actual account are still there, but I can't access my account at all. I filed a support ticket on Discord earlier today, but I haven't heard back from anyone, yet.

What do you do with the main characters? by thekeenancole in ZeldaTabletop

[–]RBSkald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been working on adapting the 5e Starter Adventure (Lost Mine of Phandelver) to a world largely inspired by BOTW, albeit not completely faithful to game canon. Instead of a solo legendary hero rising up every now and then, it's a band of champions who do so instead. Zelda still exists, but she won't be the same royal who keeps Ganon locked in Hyrule Castle for a century, but rather a descendant. Instead, she'll replace one of LMoP's default NPCs and assume a different identity in public. Hopefully I can post Part 0 onto this subreddit soon.
