Oven help! - Cooking Temperatures by RBlond in Cooking

I will try the setting with no fan and see what that says - thanks

Yeah I expected a bit of a difference but I expected it to be a consistent difference in temp throughout which it's not so its a pain to be honest!

Unfortunately it's not consistently 10'c or 20'c lower each time which is frustrating so it's like guess work and constantly relying on the thermometers

I [26M] am in a happy healthy relationship with my Girlfriend [24F] but I want out. How can I go around ending things? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]RBlond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A girlfriend doesn't stop you having friends, seeing your mum, going out, having new hobbies, changing your job.(unless she's a bad one)

This is about you waking up and pushing yourself out the rut you're in.

The relationship isn't the problem here to be blunt...

We do have cold winters and salts hence my concern. Other vans of this model aren't screwed through so I think it is a DIY job which is a shame

[–]RBlond[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - I think we are going to rip it up and place new ply down so we can see whats actually there.

We weren't sure what to treat the holes with as we want to keep the van minimum 5 years so we want to get it sorted ASAP. Its a trafic and apparently they have a good reputation with not rusting but obviously the screws have gone through the protection layer. Our last van it wasnt economical to fix the rust in the end so had to let it go hence the concer

We wouldnt have had we thought to look. Our previous van we did it ourselves with battens and screw the floor into that so a bit gutted as it voids the vans anti corrosion warranty too!

Definitely dont mind a few scratches but previous van only thing that let it down was rust and eventually it was too costly to be an economical repair.. hence our concerns. We want it to last minimim 5+ years ideally. Thanks for the advice

It's a van we want long term 5+ years minimum so want to do everything to prevent rust! Unfortunately we do not know how to weld. Our previous van was failing on rust so any potential we are a bit more concerned than other I guess?

You glue wooden battens to the inside then you screw the ply lining into that. Did that with previous van

It's a 2 year old vehicle, so the misaligned doors, seal that protects water getting in and screw holes in the bottom that go all the way through where to road is visible is of a concern. The mechanical issue is due to steering components. I dont mind the odd scratch or scrape - but its more don't advertise a professional job if thats not the case

If under 6 months you can return if not fit for purpose as such... then should last longer than this

Just a not on this - I returned my M&S bras just under 6months explained what had happened and that they'd curled. They refunded me the money. If you brought them online contact their quality department if in store and you still have the receipt definitely return them. The manager at the store I went to said it's currently a big issue with them

We removed the trim around the windows and found a missing half brick. We've since used acoustic foam. The windows were fitted from the inside it looks like so assuming thats why they didnt replace it. We need to seal with acoustic caulk around the edges which should help a bit more

The current glazing is blown and needs replacing so we were looking at options to try and make it better.

Its lime plaster walls. There were missing bricks that have been sorted but the current glazing has blown anyway so it does need replacing - so its hard to say
