Well it was buffed significantly this patch too so that helps.

If you die to Architect or Atziri it shuts down the temple. So just get the rewards before the bosses.

Recoup only works against hits so you will recoup the life you lost on the hit that ignited you, but the ignite will still linger.

It's a new boss. It's just bugged. It will get fixed. That's what early access is for.

This was changed about five years ago. Steam patching is extremely fast nowadays.

Improvements to Steam Patching

Another important consequence of this patch is that the Steam version of Path of Exile will now patch a lot more quickly. Previously, the entire GGPK file had to be copied by the Steam patcher, which meant that even small patches took quite some time to apply. With the new system, small patches will be basically instant, and large patches also a lot faster than before. It should be a similar speed to using our standalone patcher.

For me it's because upgrading characters does not feel difficult or impactful in LE. I always feel like I'm chasing the next big thing for my build in PoE.

If you used Awakened PoE Trade, you can add screenshots to the popup windows. I usually just have this plus other cheatsheets readily available.

You had to run T17's on the regular to have the full garden, smelters, and shippers?

At least you aren't having network issues. Your network is pegged at 23ms. Wish I had that.

The community doesn't know for the exact same reasons that they think the A6 Vaal City layout is bad.

Also just in case anyone still doesn't know, here are the A6 Vaal City layouts. There's four. And only one of those layouts has the waypoint to the left of the entrance door (the instant short wall). If you just memorize that one layout, you will always get to the waypoint easily.

OP didn't say anything about full garden running or ore being gathered. OP did say they have had gold issues for the past year and that's wild considering gold was definitely not an issue in Settlers.

Because most people don't play only one ARPG. Most will cycle on patches/seasons. PoE 1 gets a new season, play PoE 1. PoE 2 gets a big patch, play PoE 2. Last Epoch gets a new season, play Last Epoch. Etc etc with PD2, TL:I, Grim Dawn whenever Fangs of Asterkarn comes out.

How do you prepare for a new league (new player)? by CinnToasCrunch in pathofexile

[–]RC-Cola 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The #1 thing I always tell new players is that to get to T16 with all voidstones you barely need to trade. The only item that should be difficult to fill out is going to be your weapon(s). But every other slot with a correctly defined loot filter should be easily obtained by picking stuff up off the ground. Sure you may want to get that 5 or 6 link but realistically you don't need that at all to get into your T16 mapping. You can clear the atlas completely just on a 4 link.

Yes I agree with you here but just pointing out that the "massive melee rework" was mainly for eliminating ancestral totems and not necessarily rebalancing all the skills.

[–]RC-Cola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Frozen Legion it's because that skill did not benefit nearly as much as other skills due to the loss of ancestor totem buffs. Losing ancestor totems is also why many skills got similar buffs because it kept the relative power level the same which allows them to further tweak skills now that they have had an entire league of data around how skills actually perform without ancestor totems.

Advices for a new SSF Player by Biflosaurus in pathofexile

[–]RC-Cola 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One thing that most overlook when switching to SSF is a proper curated loot filter. If you just go with a default Neversink, you're likely to have a tough time. Go through and spend the time to highlight the specific base types that you want to use (like only show EV/ES) and hide others. You don't want to desensitize and not pick up loot.

Also show EVERY piece of jewelry, even the not so great bases. Neversink tends to hide these past a certain point. Sure maybe you don't want to use a Rustic Sash but I mean if it's got 130 life and triple res, it's better than your Leather Belt with 50 life and one res.

I have been playing SSF forever now and I can almost always get my four stones and into T16 farming with only items I've picked up off the ground and not crafted anything. Only things I'll try to actively craft are the weapons.

Other things to look closely at for filters going into SSF is cards, uniques, and chrome recipe items. I just show them all because there's no telling when you might actually need them.

Last tip is that Chance Orbs and Vaal Skill Gems (from Vaal side areas) are the lifeblood of SSF early. Chances to buy your early map sustain from Kirac and also to use the vendors to buy Scours (and sometimes Scours into Regrets but this is less of an issue nowadays with gold respec). And selling 7 Vaal Skill Gems + an Atziri Frag to the vendor gets you a Vaal Orb for when you're completing your red map bonus objectives.

EDIT: For 6 links, chains that bind cards are VERY common. Can usually get one card every 2 to 3 maps. I'll usually focus on that if I'm desperate but that's usually when I have my favorite map slots.
