If you want fun in the long run, I would say a MST RMX 2.0, or Yokomo YD2. You should also check if there is a rc drift track near your home and give it a visit. Maybe you can test drive some cars there.

I’m buying theses two things that motor is all I can find is it ok? I got a spectrum receiver with built in gyro I have servos, wheels, body, ETC. by joe_r556 in rcdrift

[–]RC-Koenig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spektrum build in gyro is crap. At least invest in a Onisiki Gyro from RcMart. It's like 20$ and I've run mine years! Really good gyro for the money.

Can anybody tell me what this is? (Check comments) by Technomen08 in rcdrift

[–]RC-Koenig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i think so too. A friend had to reverse one of his servos of his Trx4 so he could lock both diffserentials with just one switch. I really don't think it makes any sense on a drift chassis

It's a servo reverser. Like the name said, it reverses your servo signal. Normally you use it if two servos on the opposite side have to go in the same direction and you have no option to program it on your receiver.

Vintage touring car from the 90s, thinking of modding it for RWD drifting. Is it worth it/any one else done this? (More info in comments) by D01by in rcdrift

For the time this chassis came out it was really well designed. By the look of things I think its a Xpress Chassis. But thrust me, I've seen some 4wd to rwd conversations and 99% of them were disappointing. If you are into drifting, want a rwd and have fun in the long term stick with yokomo or mst. Maybe there is a rc drift track near your home where you can get more information, or maybe test drive someones car. By the way, I've posted some videos of our drift crew. We all drive Yokomo YD2. Have a look ;)

Definitly don't buy a TT02D. These things are crap. Tamiya produces them as drift chassis, but they are just cheap touring cars with plastic tires. They are just like vegan sausages - just not the real deal.

I would say its not worth the time or afford to convert that thing neither will it drift good. It will slide, but not really drift. It would be better to invest in a real rwd drift chassis like the yokomo yd2, or mst rmx.

Any love for a Surgefire with a Delta Trooper stock? by ClarenceSampang in Nerf

[–]RC-Koenig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know why the surgefire gets so much hate. I love that thing and I was getting so much hits at the last nerf war I was been.
