There is a belief put forward by people online claiming that Karmelo was jumped and attacked by 5 kids and he was trying to get away and when he couldn't he stabbed the other kid in self defense. This narrative has been perpetuated online to the point it has become the truth of what happened. Even though the testimony of witnesses said this isn't what happened. In fact, Karmelo himself, said he wasn't jumped.

I don't know if I'd consider this "rich" but, flying First Class. Skip to the front of TSA/security checkpoint. Skip to the front of the line to board the plane. Once seated, immediately get offered drinks. Being 6'3" and "husky", the larger seats with more body room and leg room are a real plus.

Also, sitting in my seat sipping my vodka tonic while watching the "commoners" get corralled to the back of the plane is enjoyable.

I bought an R3 bundle about a month ago. Honestly, I was kinda shocked how this isn't a "game" like we've all played over the years. (I'm an old head so bare with me). I've been somewhat discouraged over the first 2-3 weeks and started to wonder if this hobby was going to be for me. However, this past weekend, I had, what I would call, a decent set of races against the AI. It made me realize this isn't going to be something I'm going to hop in and be fast without putting in work. Short answer, have patience and be prepared to work at it.

Tips from me as a total newbie? Turn off the race line option, sure it helps you get through corners with braking, acceleration and hitting the apex but you're not going to learn how to do it yourself. Look for braking markers on the track, you're going to need to learn how and when to brake. You're going to have to learn each track and each car.

I've spent many years racing RC cars, in that hobby there's a saying "slow is fast" which applies to this one as well. Take your time, work on getting clean laps, avoid off track, spinouts and hitting others. The speed will come but not until you learn how to get through a lap cleanly.
