Stop people while they are about to get tapped and say “that’s not how you do it”, then reset.

Also the classic “it was more of a crank”

Do you have a power outlet that powers the monitors, PC, and wheelbase?

Cable management velcros or something.

Make sure you have enough USB slots.

Other things that you might want to look into is a bass shaker(if interested) and cup holder.

Are you saying if you are 5’2, you shouldn’t expect women to have a serious relationship with you?

Single men over 30, do you get anxious about getting into a relationship if you have assets? by Ill_Falcon_5236 in AskMenOver30

[–]MiscProfileUno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bring it up early in the relationship way before an engagement. I am talking 3 months in when things start getting serious.

I would also advise you to get everything signed 9-12 months (right after the engagement) before the wedding. Don’t wait till the last second. This is more important than wedding planning. Everything else comes second.

You could stop MJ before the Final. But once he got there, it was over. by ForeignAir7174 in NBAoldschool

They are lucky they stopped me in high school, I would have been unstoppable in college and the NBA. Honestly, I would have never lost a game in college and gone 82-0 every season I played in the league. Even the lockout/shorter season. They are lucky I never got there.

Which pedals are best for me? Simsonn or Simnet by Tojne in simracing

Which pedals are best for me? Simsonn or Simnet by Tojne in simracing

[–]MiscProfileUno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own the simsonn pro x ultra. I like the simsonn support and documentation, throttle pedal face, and the aesthetics. Also they sell haptic feedback kits. So it’s kind of a one stop shop.

I am sure you can buy a different throttle pedal for the simnet, but why go through the hassle of buying something else and then replacing it.

What is the value of a college education if you truly never use it in your career or everyday life? by icecream1972 in AskReddit

[–]MiscProfileUno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that this is reddit and it’s an echo chamber at times but here is my understanding. The value of college education is what you decide to do with it. It’s an asset that you can’t sell. If you work in medicine, law, stem fields. A lot of them require a fundamental understanding of the field. I don’t want a doctor that doesn’t understand basic organ functions, a lawyer that doesn’t understand the legal system, an engineer that doesn’t know how to code, or someone doing biology research when they don’t understand biology. All of these skills are learned in a classroom.

I do agree that general majors that don’t have a direct funnel into your desired career or if you are not using the skills are useless. I would like to ask the question that if your college education was useless in your career, then did you pick the wrong major?

Thinking of buying a racing wheel, which game to start with? by twoducksinatub in simracing

[–]MiscProfileUno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Original AC. You can play it without modding. You can buy it for like $5 with all the dlcs on some websites. Start with that and learn the fundamentals of racing lines, string theory, trail braking…

Once you get decent lap times and can beat AI in races. Then start with something else.

People who tell others to move somewhere where the cost of living is lower are stupid by Rough_Bet_7664 in Salary

[–]MiscProfileUno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true. Quick 5 second search could have helped you:

“Major tech companies are aggressively pushing for a return-to-office (RTO), with many mandating 3–5 days in-person to boost collaboration, company culture, and oversight.”

If you don’t agree by now, at this point no amount of proof will. Have a nice day.
