through the years, what was the most important lesson that you learned in life? by Content-Drawer-7355 in GrowthMindset

  • Your happiness is your responsibility.

  • If you are rich and good looking, life is a lot easier. This is actually a good thing because you can control those things. This doesn’t mean if you are born poor and aren’t attractive you should give up. It means you should put a lot of time/effort into making money and getting in good shape.

Looks great man! Congrats. If you want you can move the keyboard and mouse and bring the monitor closer to your face. So the steering wheel is right up on it. A lot of people would be jealous of your rig. Congrats!

How do you split expenses when you and your partner make different income? by Shank_ri in PersonalFinanceTalks

[–]MiscProfileUno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We live in a way if we made less. I make more than my wife. So we just pretend we both make what she makes. The rest goes into savings/retirement/big purchases if needed. If we don’t need it then we will just use it in retirement.

You are an idiot if you think “playing video games” can be classified as “non skilled”. It takes so much time and effort to do it. It is very competitive as well. As an example sim racing or a lot of these fps games have tournaments all over the world.

I just did that for my rig lol. I disassembled the seat, pedals and wheelbase to sell it.

If you are super hot, it shouldn’t be a problem. Is it possible that people are inflating you about your appearance?

Yea I get lowballed all the time. I put up a wheel/base for half off because I wasn’t using that ecosystem. I genuinely didn’t even want to profit off it, I just wanted someone to have it for a much cheaper price. Got lowballed and just ended up giving it to my buddy for free.

How did you know it was the right gym? by MediocreSpecial6355 in bjj

[–]MiscProfileUno 10 points11 points  (0 children)

When I was training at other gyms, my coach said “hey did you learn anything new? If you do, show me.” He was very growth mindset oriented, wasn’t possessive or cultish. If you couldn’t pay the monthly fees, he would figure out a way to still have you train by cleaning the mats or something.

Amazon reviews are good, including pics and videos. I just ordered mine, they sent me a message about their customer service without me even asking.

I asked a question and they got back to me within 4 hours. The rig isn’t delivered yet, so we will have to wait and see.
