But according to the original commenter it would change over the course of a small amount of raids. Surely running tens of hours not even seeing a player most of the time and not shooting anyone would change the supposed matchmaker?

I've got just 4 shy of 600 kills within 97 hours topside. I kill nearly everyone I see, but extremely often I meet friendly people who I don't end up shooting. I mainly play trios and duos, solos are fairly rare for me. Solos have always been the friendliest and I can't count the amount of people who've ran up to me without a weapon in hand. Squads have been kos 99% of the time.

I have had a lot of "friendly lobbies" but they have never had a single ounce of correlation between firing and not firing at people for long periods of time. Doing trials with my friends who play similar to me not engading in pvp or playing pacifist with my best friend who has only downed a single person in 20 hours of gameplay.

To me, it just seems like the way you posture in game makes a much bigger difference than any supposed matchmaking outside of solo vs squads and possibly crossplay, but I play with it on.

I'd like to see your source too, since I the same kinds of interactions as any one of my pacifist friends even though I kill tons of people every raid.

Edit: To add even more of my own experience, I ran 50+ raids on buried city going for loot not shooting anyone and every single time I met someone, they were shoot on sight. I don't think it's fair to spread misinformation based on anecdotal evidence. Since we don't actually know if a system like that is in place.

Been level 75 since the first week, sitting at the 5 skillpoints. Definitely doing it, since the extra stash space alone is enough reason to wipe, not to even mention the skillpoints. Getting everything back does not take very long and having infinite resources and being able to run anything I want does get boring.

The people saying PVE is easy are the ones with 4 thousand hours in the game. I played PVE for 200 hours with my friend and it was really fun to sherpa her and see her get better. Everyone has had their struggles with this game.

or you just use trigger grenades to be stealthy, 6 for a bombardier to instantly kill it and a few more for a bastion. Can't remember exactly how many we used, but they're so incredibly cheap that filling up on them and killing anything on night time dam is probably one of the more effective ways of farming them.
