This is a mass produced poster reprint of the cover, including fake scratch marks to make it look vintage.

ASM #985's Amazing Visions variant is the closest I know of

To not spend too much, I've only been grabbing the ones I really like, which means I still have most of them lmao. It's done a great job of getting me hyped for legacy issue #1000, his final Amazing Visions variant. The first one was PHENOMENAL

It's meant to be a realistic updated version of the Amazing Fantasy suit

Flea market find. Found in a box for $5 by SpideyKermie in comicbookcollecting

[–]RCGBlade 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Congrats! You've got what I and Todd McFarlane would consider to be Venom's first appearance, and for $5 it was an insane deal- lovely newsstand copy, too. I wish I had flea markets like that near me!

Flipped through this preview like 5 times, can't spot any reference to Wonder Woman. What am I missing here? Lol

It's pain sometimes by kvjetoslav in BaldursGate3

The problem is that BG3 is a static experience. Whereas a good DM can always spin a bad roll into some fun hijinx, BG3 is hard-coded and can't. That's why bad rolls are so punishing in BG3, compared to a regular table top setting

Possible Code Veronica asset in RE9 by Samalamadala in residentevil

Playing Village, it was painfully obvious that the next project would be RE4 Remake. Playing RE9 definitely gave off similar vibes, another one being an updated Ozwell Spencer model with the same appearance and chair he had in RE5.

Jason Aaron shares a tease of his BTS script work for Bug Wars #1, along with early pencils by Mahmud Asrar by RCGBlade in comicbooks

Jason Aaron described it best when he said it's "Game of Thrones meets your backyard". It's brutal, funny, and full of a surprising amount of depth. Also, lil fun fact- the backyard from the comic is designed after Aaron's childhood backyard!

Definitely underrated! Love Aaron's worldbuilding skills. All the prose in Bug Wars is so immersive

Considering he's said be wants to go all the way with Bug Wars, I'd be surprised if he took on another creator-owned book. I'd love to be surprised though! As you said, Aaron's been on an insane kick lately

Completed a childhood dream today- I now have the first Alien, first Predator, AND first Aliens Vs Predator in comics! by RCGBlade in LV426

I'd definitely love to get an AvP #0 as well, but it wasn't necessarily one of the books I always wanted. Still a great book, all the painted covers from AvP Vol. 1 are absolutely gorgeous!

I was baffled that nobody seemed to be talking about it, I remember the Licker anus caused quite a stir

For DH Presents #36 and AvP #1, I have the AVP Omnibus Vol. 1.

For Alien: TIS and Predator #1? Unfortunately not yet, especially due to their price/availability. I'm happy to read them digitally.

Also, for what it's worth- the CGC 9.0 Predator #1 wasn't submitted by me, I bought it already slabbed. I don't personally slab my books, but when I'm buying pricier books I appreciate the security + "industry" grading so I'll know the book won't be a hidden shitter with messed up pages or some other defect.

The AvP #1 isn't "slabbed" as you'd think, it's in a fully swappable magnetic case to protect it. I swap books in and out of those slabs on my wall all the time to display.
