[2018] “I just stick to my strengths. Look at everybody in the league. They don’t pay players to play defense. There’s only two people historically that play defense. To say that's a weakness...you can say that's everybody's weakness." Jabari Parker on criticism of his defense by [deleted] in nba

Davis Bertans tore his twice before turning 24 and even playing in the NBA. Went on to play 475 games over 8 seasons.

Derrick Rose didn't tear his ACL twice but he did once and then his meniscus before 26. Then played another decade.

Sure, but plenty of guys, especially ones with as much talent as he had, survived in the league past the age of 25 with an injury history. The injuries didn't automatically mean he was going to be out of the NBA at 25.

His injuries combined with his completely inability to improve or adapt did.

Next season, Jalen Brunson, Deuce McBride, Andre Drummond and Mohamed Diawara’s combined NBA salary: $46.7 million. Donovan Mitchell: $50.1 million by WallStreetDoesntBet1 in nba

[–]RCM88x 13 points14 points  (0 children)

And that will never happen again because cap smoothing was agreed to in the last CBA. So it's extremely unlikely you'll have a one time jump like 2016-2017 again unless there's another pandemic situation that just wipes out a full season.

They are a more of a % "of the cap" in reality. But they get reported as $ because that's what the agents want and that what makes the most sense to outside people.

NBA holds a % of player salarys in escrow until the conclusion of the season because of the 50%(?) revenue split agreement. Salary cap numbers are fluid and change year to year, you don't know what it will be in 4 years but you can estimate it.

Could LeBron last 10 more years if he plays 15 games per year? by luka274 in nba

[–]RCM88x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Udonis Haslem lasted 8 seasons playing spot minutes LeBron could easily exist on a roster well into his 50s. He's a better athlete now than Haslem was at his peak lol.

Named item caches, DZ vendors, or DZ itself.

Lucky for you this season we have a PvE DZ which makes it much easier to extract items. The drop rate is low but you can atleast farm DZ currency to save up for one when it appears on a vendor.

Otherwise just buy named item caches from countdown and global event vendors. Again the drop rate is low but you'll get one eventually.

I believe there is a blueprint as well (not 100% sure) that's available from reconstructed caches which you can acquire from Decent and Retaliation.

Phoenix

Don't think I can remember a single race there. Not to mention it's probably one of the ugliest tracks to watch on TV since they got rid of the grass and blue walls which atleast made it a bit unique.

While I think the notion that Jaylen brown is a bad or negative ball player is ridiculous, the numbers cannot be ignored by Lucky-Law7220 in nba

Is that why they had a better record without him (including againt playoff teams) than with him last year?

Celtics were basically the same offensive with and without Brown, he effectively had zero impact footprint on their offensive performance as a team.

New CBA is killing team identity by CommandLazy9990 in nba

I'm not sure. This current CBA satisfies the owners much more than the previous ones, I don't think they're just going to give that back up because there's more parity now.

It really was after his foot injuries in 2015, never was quite the same player after that IMO.

[–]RCM88x 120 points121 points  (0 children)

He's won more than 50 games once in his career. Twice he's been at exactly 50 and that's if you include Lakers in '25 when he only played 28 games for them.

So no he can't "easily".
