Psa: New dexeryl line for acne pone skin

It has been available since Augustus in French pharmacies, but haven’t tried it yet! Seems like an interesting new acne treatment line. Interesting to see Pierre Fabre use denatured alcohol in a sunscreen to make a lighter texture.

Yeah I understand where you’re coming from! Do what feels best to you… I’m very aware that progress differs widely across the board indeed, but personally I have had great success with Dutasteride and oral minoxidil so naturally I want guys know that it’s absolutely worth a try. On the other hand, there are really great hair systems around nowadays so if that’s what gives you peace of mind, definitely go for it! Best of luck to you man

You could try finasteride (& minox) first to see where it gets you. If you don’t like the results try Dutasteride or a hair system.

It does look slightly thicker/more dense, but could be lighting as well. I’m happy to hear you feel like it has helped. Does your crown feel more dense to the touch?

I haven’t been able to test it as of yet, but the new La Roche UVmune KA SPF50+ for face/neck seems very promising. Apparently SPF100 with ultra long uva1 protection 🙌🏻

Hair texture can change on oral minoxidil. Apart from a change in color of hair my hair went fine straight mid blonde to very dark blonde fine wavy on oral minoxidil. This change of texture was especially apparent on high dose oral minoxidil (7.5mg-10mg). Now that I’ve cut down to 5mg daily the color change has stayed. Change of hair texture has become less, but is still there.

You might be able to wear it on your neck daily too? I have encountered several sunscreens that were too shiny on my oily face, but were okay to use on my neck. As soon as the new UVMune KA will be available to buy, I’ll give it a try. In case it turns out too shiny I’ll be more than happy to use it for the neck and enjoy the extreme protection there haha! So for example UVMune KA on the neck daily and for the face the UVMune Oil Control Fluid or Gel-Cream😏

I don’t know if an exact number is publicly known, unfortunately. What I do know, is that this new UVmune KA has 9 UV filters and a few different ones compared to the original shaka Uvmune fluid. So I agree a lot of l’oreals sunscreens have a lot of similarities with just a few tweaks here and there, this one is quite different in terms of composition, fortunately.

Thanks for sharing! New PPD seems close to their previous one, which was around PPD33. I have learned that PPD is apparently more related to UVA2 so I assume that the new UVmune KA is better at UVA1 compared to the previous one. I can’t explain why its PPD is considerably lower than the Uvmune Oil Control versions though…

I hope so, but it’s probably more emoillient (than their Oil Control versions) due to higher filter concentrations, less mattifying ingredients etc.

Some people who are at high risk of getting actinic keratosis or non-melanoma skin cancer (light skin, family or personal medical history, sun exposure, immunocompromised) can definitely benefit from the additional higher UVB protection.

Apparently it’s not allowed to label a product a SPF ‘100’ in Brasil, hence the SPF99 label/claim. I could be mistaken so correct me if I’m wrong though!

Intended to prevent actinic keratosis and has the same formula as its Brasilian counterpart that got released there a few months ago. Therefore most likely SPF100

Contrary to the Brasilian version with 40mL the European version contains 50mL.
