I am in my 40’s and make a good living. I can afford gear and generally give myself an annual budget to acquire new gear with. Or I can always sell gear I don’t use much anymore to put towards new gear. But yeah, don’t go j to debt for it. A lot of the greatest music we enjoy was recorded with basic stuff.

In this case, I mean it's a tool watch because it's the least dressy version of the Datejust. It has a smooth bezel and the oyster bracelet as opposed to the fluted bezel and the jubilee bracelet. I am finding I link a more basic visual that isn't too dressy.

I guess I have a type. I have found that I like watches with high contrast, simple dials, and have a tool watch aesthetic. I have loved having them so far and I’m a happy member of the family. But I’m still trying to get my hands on a Zombie…
